Very soon after the Nokia N97 was launched, consumers started complaining about straight line or scratches appearing on the Nokia N97 camera lens. The scratches were appearing on most handsets regardless of the time used, country of purchase or country of origin.

Well now brkix, a member of the Nokiausers.net forums has uncovered the reason behind the Nokia N97 camera lens scratching problem. After dismantling the Nokia N97, brkix reports that there is a piece of plastic with a square piece of metal attached to notify the phone of the opening of the lens cover and in turn activate or deactivate the camera application.
The piece of plastic is the blue stuff which we see below the lens cover. This was the same thing people used to think was a cleaning cloth. The blue stuff is too close to the camera lens and it scratches the lens when it is moved especially if there is dust trapped in between.

After 5800 has turned out to be a major hit for Nokia, they are now readying for a small update to its first touch screen handset in the form of Nokia 5800i XpressMusic phone. After you hear the name, you may think that this is a upgrade over Nokia 5800 with some extra feature but sorry to disappoint, this model is not an upgrade over Nokia 5800 but in fact a downgrade over the present model, The Wi-fi connectivity has been removed from this particular model. Last week, O2 a UK based carrier said that Apple was due to roll out a new firmware update for the Apple iPhone in the coming weeks. Well now O2’s prediction has come right. It is the first mobile phone capable of recording a video of 720 pixel resolution at 30 fps. The Samsung OMNIA HD offers 720p recording but at 24fps. The folks over at Nokia Conversation have put together a Camera Comparison of the Nokia N86 8MP with the Nokia N82.
The subject matter of the Comparison was to compare the low light performance of the Nokia N86 8MP with that of the Nokia N82. the Nokia N86 8MP does not have a Xenon flash but the Nokia N82 does have it.
