HTC Desire X gets a pre-order price in UK

HTC announced the Desire X few hours ago, and the online retailer Clove UK has announced that they are now taking pre-orders for the device. It comes with a 4.0-inch (800 X 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display and is powered by 1 GHz Dual-core processor. It runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with LED Flash, but it records videos only at WVGA resolution, and not at 720p HD resolution. Idea launches 3G Dongle with 2GB free cloud storage for Rs. 1799

Samsung ATIV Tab Windows RT Tablet with 10.1-inch HD display announced

Samsung has announced the ATIV Tab, their first Windows RT Tablet with Windows UI. It comes with a 10.1-inch (1366 x 768 pixels) HD display and is just 8.9mm thick. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor and features a 5 Megapixel Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash at the back and a 1.9 Megapixel front-facing Camera. Samsung ATIV S : First Windows Phone 8 device announced with 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display

Samsung has announced ATIV S, the first device to run Windows Phone 8 OS. It has a 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. It comes with an 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and 1.9 Megapixel front-facing camera. It can record and play Full HD videos at 1080p. It is 8.7 mm thick and weighs 135 grams. It has brushed aluminum body and a physical Windows button at the bottom instead of capacitive one. Water resistant Sony Xperia V launched, Comes with onboard LTE

As part of its next generation Xperia lineup, Sony just announced the Sony Xperia V. The USP of the device is that it has the highest level of water resistance available in a smartphone. The phone is equipped with LTE. The phone runs on a dual core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz.

Sony announces Xperia Tablet S running Android 4.0

Sony just announced its new Xperia Tablet S at IFA in Berlin. Running on the Tegra 3 chip, the tablet runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Storage can be configured right up to 64GB. The design is quite similar to the previous generation Tablet S but makes use of metal instead of plastic this time around. Weight has been dropped to 1.26 pounds.

WishTel launches IRA Comet HD 10.1-inch tablet running Android 4.0 for Rs. 9999

WishTel, the company which launched IRA THING 2 last month, has come up with IRA Comet HD, their first tablet with a 10.1-inch display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and has 1 GB RAM. Samsung introduces 64GB Ultra High Speed microSD cards for LTE Smartphones and Tablets

Samsung has introduced 64GB Ultra High Speed-1 (UHS-1) MicroSD cards for LTE (Long Term Evolution) smartphones and tablets. They introduced 16GB UHS-1 card earlier this April and already announced that they would offer higher capacity versions of the card. The new 64GB microSD card is part of Pro line-up. Microsoft launches SkyDrive app for Android

Microsoft has finally released the SkyDrive app for Android.  This app would let you view, upload and share files, photos and documents from your phone using your SkyDrive account. You can also view recently used documents and manage files from the app. The official SkyDrive app for Windows Phone and iPhone was launched last December. Samsung unveils Brown, Red, Black and Grey Galaxy S3

 

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S3 would be available in new range of colors, Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey, globally. The Red Galaxy S3 was exclusively launched for AT&T in July and it was spotted in Germany last week.
