It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) 28nm HPm quad-core Krait 400 CPU clocked at 2.15 GHz and has Adreno 330 GPU clocked at 450 MHz. It has a 5.5 inch 1080p display, has 2GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). Check out the synthetic benchmark scores.
MediaTek has announced its MT2601 SoC for wearable devices based on Google’s Android Wear software. The chipmaker says that its new SoC features 41.5 percent fewer components and lower current consumption.

Nokia’s return to the hardware market looks set to become official later this month as the N1 tablet will begin shipping in China on January 28th. TCL Communications, parent company of Alcatel Onetouch, has confirmed that it has acquired the Palm brand. The confirmation comes a week after rumors about the acquisition.
Lenovo today announced two new Android tablets, Tab 2 A7-10 and Tab 2 A7-30 in the A-series. These Tab 2 series of tablets, successors of last year’s A7-30 have 7-inch (1024 x 600) IPS displays, are powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT8382M SoCs and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
