Square Enix has announced Lara Croft GO, a turn-based puzzle game for Android, iPhone and iPad at the E3 2015. This game is developed by Square Enix Montréal, the team behind the Hitman GO, which is also a turn-based puzzle game that was released last year. The team have been working closely with Crystal Dynamics, the studio behind the Tomb Raider franchise, to stay true to such a unique and iconic character in video games.
“Lara Croft was a perfect fit for us as the franchise has always been about solving puzzles and exploring exotic and mysterious locations”, said the company. The game takes you on an adventure set in a long-forgotten world. You need to explore the ruins of an ancient civilization, discover hidden secrets and face deadly challenges as you uncover the myth of the Queen of Venom.
The game will have challenging gameplay, gorgeous visuals and a mesmerizing soundtrack. It will be available for Android, iPhone and iPad later this year. Check out the official Lara Croft GO Reveal trailer.
