We are sure most of you guys know that the OnePlus One is coming soon to India.But guess what? the OnePlus Team is already in India! We decided to team up with them and host the first ever OnePlus Fan Meetup in India, and in Bangalore to be more precise, later this week. We know a lot of you folks already use a OnePlus One in India and many are eager to get hold of one. So, this might be your golden chance.

Motorola is expected to unveil the Moto X+1, successor of last year’s Moto X at the September 4th event. We had already seen live images and even a press image of the smartphone in several leaks. Today, TK Tech News has got hold of high resolution images of the Moto X+1 that is powered on. According to its sources, the sensors could be used to work with Moto Aware app displayed on the homescreen of the smartphone. Samsung would launch the Galaxy S Duos 3 (SM-G313HU), successor of the S Duos 2 in India soon, according to the Mumbai-based retailer Mahesh Telecom who has the smartphone in stock for Rs. 7,999. It would be priced at an MRP of Rs. 8,590. The Galaxy S Duos 3 is the Dual SIM 3G version of the Galaxy Ace 4 that was unveiled back in June, so it has similar specifications including a 4-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1 GHz dual-core processor, Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung TouchWiz Essence UI, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. Motorola is expected to launch new smartphones at the September 5th event in India later this week. According to a listing on Zauba, Indian import/export website, the (Moto G2) XT-1068 has been imported from China to Bangalore few days back. It is being imported for Rs. 10,640 per unit for the 16GB variant, so the launch price of the smartphone could be close to it. Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited that operates under MTS brand has launched MTS Movies in partnership with Shotz7. This lets MTS dongle users and their smartphone customers enjoy more than 800 exclusive short films for free with a new movie releasing every Friday. It initially offers Hindi and English movies, but plans to bring Tamil, Kannada, Bangla and Gujarati as well in future. Lava Iris X5, the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone in the X series is now available exclusively from online retailer Amazon.in. It has a 5-inch HD display based on one-glass-solution (OGS), powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat). It has a 8-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash similar to the Iris X1, but the main highlight is its 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash to capture better selfies. This BIS plan for BlackBerry OS 7 customers offer 1GB of 2G data at Rs. 83 per month, and Rs. 999 annually (taxes extra). To activate the plan, postpaid Idea users on BB OS 7 can SMS ACT999ARP to 12345. This confirms the company’s commitment to BlackBerry OS 7 customers, even though it has moved to OS 10. Obi Mobiles launched Octopus S520, the company’s first smartphone back in July, today it has launched five new smartphones. These include, Obi S400, S450, Python S452, S500 and Wolverine S501 that are priced between Rs. 4,200 and Rs. 7,850. Expect the Wolverine S501 that runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat), other four smartphones run on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
