Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium with 5.8-inch 4K HDR display, Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM, Dual rear cameras announced

Sony just announced the Xperia XZ2 Premium , the company’s latest flagship smartphone in the XZ2 series, few months after the introduction of the Xperia XZ2 at MWC 2018. It has a 5.8-inch 4K HDR screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 11% larger and 30% brighter than the 4K HDR display on the XZ Premium, is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform and runs Android 8.0 (Oreo). It has a 3D glass body and features the same Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the back. It also has front facing stereo speakers with S-Force Front Surround. Infinix Hot S3 Topaz Blue color variant launched in India

Infinix launched Hot S3, a mid-range smartphone in the ‘Hot S’ series in India in February starting at Rs. 8999 in Sandstone Black and Brush Gold colors. Today it has launched the new Topaz Blue color variant of the smartphone. Other specifications are the same, including a  20-megapixel front camera with dual LED flash, 5.65-inch HD+ 18:9 display, Snapdragon 430 SoC with up to 4GB RAM and Android 8.0 Oreo with the company’s own XOS Hummingbird V3.0 on top. Honor 10 with 5.84-inch FHD+ FullView Display, 6GB RAM, dual rear cameras, Android 8.1 gets certified

Last week Huawei’s Honor brand officially announced that the Honor 10 smartphone with dual rear cameras with A.I will be introduced at an event in Shanghai, China on April 19th. Now the smartphone has been certified in China with model numbers COL-AL00, COL-TL10, COL-TL00 and COL-AL10. The image of phone has not been revealed yet, but the listing reveals similar specifications as the Huawei P20.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Android 8.1 Oreo based MIUI Global Stable ROM with Treble support coming soon

Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 5 Pro in India back in February, despite launching in Feb 2018 the device runs on MIUI 9.2 on top of Android Nougat 7.1.1. The company spokesperson already confirmed the Oreo update in a tweet but didn’t share any timeline for the update roll-out. However, last month MIUI Beta ROM was leaked and surprisingly it was based on Android Oreo 8.1 along with Treble support. Google is said to be testing gesture-based navigation in Android P much like the iPhone X. The screenshots of the navigation bar have surfaced which gives a glimpse of a short little bar in place of the home button, a back arrow that’s now hollowed-out, and no app-switcher at all. We have already seen brands experimenting with gestures including OnePlus, Xiaomi that quite resemble the iPhone X style. Xiaomi Mi 6X with 20MP front and rear cameras teased, Mi Band 3 could be announced alongside on April 25

Last week Xiaomi scheduled an event on April 25th. Now the company has confirmed that it will indeed unveil the Mi 6X at the event. It also said that it will feature 20-megapixel cameras on the front and back. The phone is rumored to feature a 20-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera.

Samsung sued over biometric patent infringement

Samsung SM-G8850 with Snapdragon 660 surfaces again in benchmarks

Samsung SM-G8750 with Snapdragon 660, 4GB RAM and Android 8.0 (Oreo) surfaced in benchmarks, and the phone with model number SM-G8850 got certified by TENAA earlier this week revealing similar specifications as the Galaxy S9. Now the phone has surfaced on AnTuTu that once again confirms Snapdragon 660 SoC for the phone.

It has a dedicated One-touch SHARK key that provides immersive gaming experience. You can use the fingerprint sensor on the front to quickly access several features such as silent mode, DND and more when gaming. There is a glowing logo on the back of the phone.
