The iQOO Z11 was officially launched in China today, introducing a new mid-to-high-tier option aimed at users prioritizing extended battery life, high-refresh-rate displays, and consistent gaming performance. The device introduces several hardware updates, including a significant increase in battery capacity and the integration of MediaTek’s latest processing technology.
Design

The iQOO Z11 features a “floating porthole” camera module design with large rounded corners and a symmetrical aesthetic. The device is available in three colorways:
- Floating Light: Utilizes nano-level photolithography to create a dynamic, light-shifting visual effect on the back panel.
- Sky White
- Midnight Black
Display
For the display, the Z11 is equipped with a 6.83-inch straight OLED screen featuring ultra-narrow bezels. It is the first iQOO device to utilize a 165Hz high-refresh-rate screen focused on eye protection and gaming fluidity.
- Brightness: Capable of reaching a maximum global brightness of 2000 nits for outdoor visibility.
- Performance: Features a 95% first-frame brightness ratio to reduce ghosting, alongside an optimized touch subsystem to lower click and swipe latency for the 165Hz refresh rate.
Processing Power and Performance
Under the hood, the iQOO Z11 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset.
- Architecture: Built on TSMC’s second-generation 4nm process, it features an all-large-core design utilizing the new Cortex-A725 cores for improved energy efficiency compared to the previous A720 generation.
- Software Optimization: The hardware is supported by iQOO’s “Monster Over-Core Engine,” which includes a “Prophet Scheduler” to manage background tasks and reduce application congestion, and a “Lightning Accelerator” aimed at stabilizing framerates during intensive gaming.
- Cooling: The phone uses 7K Ice Dome VC liquid cooling
- Benchmarks: According to the manufacturer, the device achieves an overall performance score exceeding 2.62 million.
Battery Capacity and Charging
A primary focal point of the iQOO Z11 is its power endurance.
- Battery Hardware: It houses a massive 9,020mAh “Blue Ocean” battery, the largest ever featured in an iQOO smartphone. Despite the large capacity, the company states it maintains a thin profile by utilizing a fourth-generation silicon anode and second-generation semi-solid-state battery cells, which also improve performance in low-temperature environments.
- Endurance: Governed by the Blue Ocean Battery Life System, iQOO claims the device can withstand over 10 hours of continuous mixed-use scenarios while retaining more than 50% of its charge.
- Charging: The device supports 90W wired flash charging, as well as reverse charging capabilities to power other electronics.
Camera System
While heavily focused on performance and battery, the Z11 includes a capable imaging system:
- Main Sensor: A 50-megapixel primary camera equipped with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
- Software Processing: Utilizes a proprietary portrait algorithm designed to maintain clarity and texture across varying focal lengths.
- Filters and Features: Incorporates Vivo’s latest film filters (negative, positive, and clear blue-toned) and a specialized check-in watermark that logs time and location, allowing for customizable text entries.
Durability
The device is built to withstand harsh environments, carrying both IP68 and IP69 ratings for top-tier dust and water resistance. Additionally, the Z11 has passed seven distinct military-grade standard tests for overall structural durability.
