Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Android 8.1 Oreo based MIUI Global Stable ROM with Treble support coming soon

Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 5 Pro in India back in February, despite launching in Feb 2018 the device runs on MIUI 9.2 on top of Android Nougat 7.1.1. The company spokesperson already confirmed the Oreo update in a tweet but didn’t share any timeline for the update roll-out. However, last month MIUI Beta ROM was leaked and surprisingly it was based on Android Oreo 8.1 along with Treble support. Google is said to be testing gesture-based navigation in Android P much like the iPhone X. The screenshots of the navigation bar have surfaced which gives a glimpse of a short little bar in place of the home button, a back arrow that’s now hollowed-out, and no app-switcher at all. Xiaomi Mi 6X with 20MP front and rear cameras teased, Mi Band 3 could be announced alongside on April 25

Last week Xiaomi scheduled an event on April 25th. Now the company has confirmed that it will indeed unveil the Mi 6X at the event. It also said that it will feature 20-megapixel cameras on the front and back. The phone is rumored to feature a 20-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera.

Samsung sued over biometric patent infringement

Samsung SM-G8850 with Snapdragon 660 surfaces again in benchmarks

Samsung SM-G8750 with Snapdragon 660, 4GB RAM and Android 8.0 (Oreo) surfaced in benchmarks, and the phone with model number SM-G8850 got certified by TENAA earlier this week revealing similar specifications as the Galaxy S9. Now the phone has surfaced on AnTuTu that once again confirms Snapdragon 660 SoC for the phone.

It has a dedicated One-touch SHARK key that provides immersive gaming experience. You can use the fingerprint sensor on the front to quickly access several features such as silent mode, DND and more when gaming. There is a glowing logo on the back of the phone.

Airtel offers 30GB free data for customers who upgrade to a 4G smartphone
