TCL Communication at the CES 2019 introduced new Alcatel 1 Series smartphones – Alcatel 1X (2019) and Alcatel 1C (2019), sucessors of last year’s 1X and 1C models. The new 1X has an HD+ screen, comes with dual rear cameras and also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The new 1C Android Oreo Go Edition smartphone has an FWVGA+ screen and a non-slip, textured finish.

According to the company, the X1 Carbon 7th Gen and X1 Yoga 4th Gen are both thinner and lighter than ever. LG has introduced Q9, new Android smartphone in Korea. It has a 6.1-inch QHD+ 19.5:9 FullVision display, is powered by Snapdragon 821 SoC with 4GB of RAM, is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, meets MIL-STD 810G requirements, and Hi-Fi Quad DAC. Huawei’s Honor brand has introduced Honor Play 8A, the company’s latest budget smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display, and the company claims that it has 87% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio P35 12nm SoC, runs Android 9.0 (Oreo), and has a 13-megapixel rear camrea with f/1.8 aperture, and an 8-megapixel front camera.
