Black Shark 2 Pro with Snapdragon 855 Plus, 12GB RAM, 256GB UFS 3.0 surfaces in benchmarks

Black Shark 2 Pro is all set to go official on July 30th, now the smartphone with the model number ‘BlackShark DTL-A0’ has surfaced on AnTuTu benchmarks which reveals a Full HD+ display, which should be a 6.39-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen, similar to the predecessor, faster Snapdragon 855 Plus SoC, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, which will likely be UFS 3.0, looking at the memory performance in the benchmark and Android 9.0 (Pie).

Vivo Z1Pro goes on open sale in India

Vivo launched its Z1Pro smartphone in India earlier this month at a competitive price tag starting at Rs.  14990. It went on sale on Flipkart and vivo India eStore starting from July 11th. After two weeks the phone is now available on open sale on both the platforms. It also comes with 5% cashback for HDFC Bank Debit Card users (not applicable on EMI transactions).

HONOR 20 PRO with quad rear cameras global roll out begins August 2

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand introduced the HONOR 20 PRO at an event in London back in May, and the phone was launched in India last month at Rs. 39,999, but the company did not reveal the availability. Apple to acquire majority of Intel’s smartphone modem business in a deal valued at $1 billion

After reports, Apple and Intel have confirmed that Apple will acquire the majority of Intel’s smartphone modem business in a transaction valued at $1 billion. Approximately 2,200 Intel employees will join Apple, along with intellectual property, equipment and leases. Intel closed its 5G modem business in April this year after Apple and Qualcomm announced a settlement and prior to this, Intel became the sole third-party provider of modems of the iPhones launched in 2018. Facebook fined $5 billion by US Federal Trade Commission for privacy violations, brings rigorous new privacy standards

The US Federal Trade Commission has fined Facebook a whopping $US 5 billion for violating a 2012 FTC order on consumers’ privacy. It is is the largest ever imposed on any company for privacy violations and almost 20 times greater than the largest privacy or data security penalty ever imposed worldwide.
