Yu YUREKA PLUS with 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 615 SoC, 4G LTE launched for Rs. 9999

YU YUREKA Plus

YU just launched YUREKA PLUS, the company’s latest smartphone in the YU series. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, compared to a 5.5-inch HD display on the YUREKA. It is powered by a Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4×1.5GHz + 4×1.0GHz) processor and runs on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 sensor, compared to Sony IMX135 sensor on the YUREKA and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Yu has announced that the company’s YuFit fitness band that was announced back in May will finally will go on sale July 29th. It can monitor steps walked, calories burnt, daily goals reached, tracks your sleep and also offers notification for incoming calls and messages. It is powered by healthifyme that provides Fitness trainers, Nutritionists and Dietitians through specific packages designed for YuFit.
