
Asus India today confirmed at the PadFone and Transformer Pad launch event that the Google Nexus 7 is expected to launch in India in November according from reports for CIOL. It might come with a different name and few changes in the specification says Ausus, the hardware partner. Google announced the Nexus 7, their first Android tablet to come with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) in June at Google I/O for $199. Motorola RAZR i: It’s the RAZR we all know and love, but with Intel inside

Motorola has just unveiled the RAZR i this morning in the UK. It’s essentially the RAZR M that was announced earlier this month, but with an Intel chip instead of a Qualcomm chip. What you’re looking at above is a phone with a 4.3 inch qHD display, what we assume to be 1 GB of RAM, an Intel Atom with hyper-threading enabled that should be capable of delivering up to 2 GHz of performance, an 8 megapixel camera that’s supposedly very fast, and it runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Samsung: Ignore those Galaxy S IV rumors, they’re not true!

Yesterday we wrote up a rumor from The Korea Times that said Samsung was going to announce the Galaxy S IV in February 2013, ship it a month later, and that it’ll feature a 5 inch display. Samsung, not being all too thrilled with the internet talking about the next Galaxy S when the current Galaxy S is barely four months old, went on Twitter to say that the rumors are false. Samsung’s Galaxy S III started shipping in late May, meaning it’s been out on the market for less than four months. Is it a bit crazy to be talking about the Galaxy S IV? Datawind launches 4 new 7-inch Ubislate Tablets running Android 4.0

Datawind, the company behind the low-cost Aakash tablets has launched 4 new 7-inch tablets, UbiSlate 7Ri, UbiSlate 7R+, UbiSlate 7Ci an d UbiSlate 7C+. These tablets come with a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) display and run on Android 4.0.3 (Ice Cream Sandwich). These are powered by Cortex A8, 1 GHz processor and has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory and a front-facing camera. Some models also have GPRS data support. Samsung Denmark has released a schedule for upcoming updates for several Samsung Devices. The table indicates that the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) upgrade would be rolled out for Galaxy S3 in October or November 2012. The Samsung Galaxy S2 would get the update in November 2012. The Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update would bring faster performance, Google Now service, contextual search, Better notifications and more new features. 4G LTE Speed Test on EE featuring the Galaxy S3 LTE and Ascend P1 LTE
Today’s announcement by EE on the arrival of 4G LTE in the UK heralds a new era in this Britain’s telecommunication industry. It’s been a long time waiting, and judging by the initial hands on demonstration, it seems that it will be worth the wait.
Huawei’s Ascend P1 and the Samsung Galaxy S3 were two of the few handsets on display at the EE press conference today. Initial speed test shows that the devices were capable of achieving and maintaining 25+Mbps download and 12+Mbps upload speed, a fair upgrade over T-Mobile’s current 3G network.
No price plans has been announced yet. The rollout of EE’s 4G LTE network will begin this year and they aim to cover 1/3rd of the population by the end of the year.

CyanogenMod rolls out M-Series, monthly taste of stable CM for super users
It’s very difficult for less adventurous Android users to get around stable versions of CM from time to time, the adventurous kind are usually happy with the nightlies. So then others have to look out for third party unofficial builds of CyanogenMod ROMs which are unreliable and can give problems. So the awesome guys at CyanogenMod have come out with M-Series, where they release a somewhat stable version of CM for everyone to use as a daily driver.

Samsung Galaxy SIII in Garnet Red now available in stores in India.

At IFA2012 Samsung Mobile announced four more colours for Samsung Galaxy SIII, mainly Garnet Red, Sapphire Black, Amber Brown and Titanium Gray. Samsung Mobile India has launched Garnet Red version of Galaxy SIII (16GB) in India on Samsung e-store. It is now also available in Samsung premium and flagship stores as well local stores in India. The MRP of Garnet Red SIII is same as other 16GB variants which is Rs.42,500 and it’s retail price is around Rs. 37,500. Similar to blue and white, this variant has its packaging in Red.
