This phone needs no introduction and I’m not going to bore you with a history of the Galaxy S lineup since most of you already know it. Almost everyone knows what Samsung has managed to do and the smartphone has been making the headlines for all the right reasons even before and after its announcement and subsequent release. We spent a lot of time with the flagship device from Samsung to see what they bring to the table this year. At a first glance, the smartphone looks like the biggest leap in the Galaxy S lineup since the Galaxy S II. Samsung launched its flagship Galaxy S7 edge smartphone in India earlier this month priced at Rs. 56,900. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have its benchmarks. It is powered by Octa-Core 14 nm Exynos 8890 SoC which has combination of four custom designed CPU cores, two of them clocked at 2.6 GHz per core, other two clocked at 2.3 GHz per core and four ARM Cortex A53 CPUs are clocked at 1.59GHz per core. It has Mali-T880 MP12 GPU and 4GB RAM LPDDR4 RAM. It has a 5.5-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).

Samsung launched the Galaxy S7 edge smartphone in India earlier this month for Rs. 56900. We already brought you the unboxing of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results. The Galaxy S7 edge packs a 3600mAh built-in battery with support for Samsung’s Adaptive fast charging that can charge the phone fully in about an hour. It has a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 8890 SoC and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Samsung’s own UI on top. Check out the test results.

LG is expected to release a ‘Lite’ version of its flagship G5 smartphone in Latin American markets, now the smartphone has also been certified by TENAA (Via) in China, which will also get the Snapdragon 820 variant. It will also have 3GB of RAM, instead of 4GB of RAM on the G5. According to the listing it will have a 2700mAh battery. Other specifications will be the same.
