White Sony Xperia S goes on sale in UK

Sony Xperia S White version is now available in UK. Online retailer Colve UK has finally started shipping the White version of the device, including pre-ordered ones. Sony announced the Xperia S in January at CES 2012 and it went on pre-order in UK in mid-January. Sony Xperia S gets PlayStation Store

PlayStation Store is now available for the Sony Xperia S that was announced this January at CES. The Sony Xperia S is PlayStation Certified smartphone similar to the Xperia Play. Xperia S users need to go to the Let’s start PS Store icon in the app tray and download PlayStation Store and PS Pocket apps (Enable install apps from Unknown sources from Settings > Application). Sony Xperia Sola with 1 GHz dual-core processor, 3.7-inch display, NFC announced

 

Sony has announced Xperia Sola, their new smartphone in the Xperia series. It has 3.7-inch Reality Display and is powered by 1GHz Dual Core Processor. It runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) , upgrade to Android 4.0 during summer 2012. It has innovative floating touch navigation technology and is NFC enabled equipped with Xperia SmartTags, allowing consumers to change their smartphone’s settings and applications instantly. Sony Xperia NXT family hands-on

Sony announced two new Xperia NXT smartphones at MWC a couple of days ago and today we had a chance to go hands-on with the new devices, the Xperia P and Xperia U, alongside the already announced Xperia S. Read on for our hands-on impressions.

With the new Xperia NXT family, Sony has introduced a new design language that looks stunning. While the new Xperia S, Xperia P and Xperia U were developed under Sony Ericsson, the far reaching influence of Sony are clear. The translucent bar near the bottom of the phones for example reminds me of a couple of their Bravia TV models with ‘floating’ frame construction. Read on for our hands-on impressions.

Sony Xperia P and Xperia U available for pre-order in UK, coming on April 23

Sony announced the Xperia P and Xperia U at MWC earlier this week at MWC, and Clove UK has announced that they have started taking pre-orders for these devices. The Xperia P has 4-inch Reality Display powered by Mobile BRAVIA Engine and uses WhiteMagic display technology for an Ultra-bright power efficient viewing experience, 8MP auto focus camera with Geo-tagging. The Xperia U is the mid-range devices that has 3.5-inch scratch-resistant TFT Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine, 5MP camera with HD video recording.
