After the very successful Corby Series of Phone, Samsung has now launched a new series of Handsets called as “Shark” Series.

At the start, Samsung has launched 3 devices namely the Samsung Shark S3550, Shark S5350 and Shark S5550.

Samsung Shark S3550 is a slider device which features a 2″ QVGA Screen, inbuilt social networking apps, 2 megapixel camera, and support for Bluetooth 2.1, USB 2.0 and an expandable microSD memory card slot of 8GB memory.

Samsung, today makes some of the highest megapixel count camera-phones in the world today. At 8MP, which is the current standard for high end phones, this camera is good. The Omnia HD has a lot of options and presets to help you get the most out of it. The interface on the Omnia HD’s camera is better than the Nokia solution on it’s touchscreen devices too. The only part where it loses out is the inclusion of a single LED flash. Samsung Sells 50 Million TouchScreen Handsets

Samsung touch screen mobile phone has now crossed the 50 million mark globally in sales this month, which make it one of the competitors to watch out for, in this fast-growing touchscreen market segment.

Nokia sues bunch of LCD Manufacturers including Samsung and LG over price-fixing
