realme back in September confirmed that it will launch the realme X2 as realme XT 730G in India in December. Last week it confirmed the launch date. Today Flipkart has posted a teaser that confirms that the phone will be launched as realme X2 in the country. Update: Realme has started registrations for realme X2 Pro ColorOS 7 Beta update yesterday. realme India CEO Madhav Seth has posted teaser images of how the ColorOS 7 will look like. The company already said that beta roll out will begin 18th December 2019 and will continue till February 2020 before stable roll out in Match 2020. realme XT will get the update in January 2020.

realme announced its most premium and flagship offering realme X2 Pro at an event in India last week. The company has already announced Android 10 update roadmap for its devices and recently announced beta testers recruitment for realme UI based on ColorOS 7. Now, the company has released kernel sources for realme X2 Pro, so there are good chances that we see Android 10 based custom ROMs for the smartphone in the coming months. At the realme XT launch event the company revealed roadmap for Android 10 roll out for its smartphones. The roll out begins Q1 2020 and will continue through Q3 2020. The company did not reveal any details about the realme OS, but the Android 10 update will likely come with realmeOS. A recent report said that realme OS will be availble for all the realme phones,but the realme 1, realme 2, realme C and realme U series are missing in the roadmap. It the same 6.5-inch HD+ Mini-drop notch display with 78% screen-to-body ratio, is powered by Snapdragon 665 11nm SoC with 4GB RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0, plastic back with crystal design that offers a combination of glossy surface and nano-scale texture and packs a 5000mAh battery, but this comes with a 48-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, instead of 12-megapixel camera in the realme 5, while retaining the 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro shots.
