Xiaomi is expanding its charging accessory portfolio in India with the upcoming launch of a high-capacity Xiaomi Power Bank 5i 20000mAh power bank featuring 67W fast charging and an integrated cable on July 23.
This combines a 20,000mAh equivalent battery capacity with versatile multi-device charging capabilities, aiming to power smartphones, tablets, and laptops on the go.
Design and Key Features
The power bank is equipped with a built-in USB-C cable, designed with high-elasticity TPU material to double as a carrying lanyard. It also features an integrated digital display that provides real-time information on remaining battery percentage, active charging status, and low-current mode.
For safety and longevity, the unit incorporates intelligent temperature control with dual NTC sensors alongside nine layers of circuit protection. At 74.37Wh, the rated energy meets international aviation standards (under 100Wh), making it suitable for carry-on air travel.
Performance and Ports
- High-Speed Output: Delivers up to 67W maximum output via the integrated USB-C cable or dedicated USB-C port, allowing fast charging for compatible smartphones and laptops.
- Rapid Self-Charging: Supports up to 65W fast input via USB-C, allowing the power bank itself to be fully recharged in approximately 2.5 hours when paired with a compatible fast charger.
- Triple-Port Charging: Features three output options—the integrated USB-C cable, a standalone USB-C port, and a USB-A port—enabling simultaneous charging for up to three devices.
- Low-Current Mode: Supports charging low-power wearables such as smartbands and Bluetooth earbuds through automatic detection on the USB-C port or via a double-press action on the power button for the USB-A port.
