Samsung has officially announced the availability of The Freestyle+, a portable, AI-powered projector designed to deliver screen sizes up to 100 inches, after it was introduced at CES 2026 earlier this year.
Positioned as an on-the-go entertainment hub, the device integrates intelligent calibration features, updated visuals, and expanded streaming options into a compact form factor.
Intelligent Projection and Auto-Calibration
The Freestyle+ incorporates advanced sensory technology and AI processing to allow projection onto non-traditional surfaces without requiring a dedicated projector screen or standard white wall.
- 3D Auto Keystone & Wall Calibration: The system automatically detects and corrects geometric distortions on uneven or angled surfaces. It also adjusts color balance and brightness levels relative to the wall’s underlying shade or pattern.
- Screen Fit & Obstacle Avoidance: The projector automatically scales and moves the image to avoid physical objects—such as light switches or wall art—in the projection field.
- Real-time Focus: Utilizing an internal ultrasonic motor, the device measures the exact distance to the display surface and adjusts focus continuously for immediate clarity.
