There is a lot of negativity surrounding the Taiwanese phone maker HTC recently due to some high profile departures from the company including Chief Product Officer Kouji Kodera and Asia CEO Lennard Hoornik. But the company has managed to sell 5 million units of the its flagship HTC One smartphone since launch according to a report by the WSJ. HTC’s main Android rival Samsung just announced today that it had sold over 10 million units of the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone in record time. The HTC One hit many markets before the Galaxy S4 but HTC is still struggling with the global roll out. India was supposed to get the phone in end of April but it is finally going on sale only this month end. HTC was also involved in some legal trouble with respect to the HDR microphone on the device. It offers download speeds up to 14.4 Mbps and upload speeds up to 5.76Mbps and also includes, Phonebook, SMS and Voice call support. It has Plug n play functionality that connects to the network instantly without and tedious process such as driver installation or manual configuration. HTC Desire 600 dual sim with quad-core processor, BoomSound announced

HTC has announced Desire 600 dual sim, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone with dual SIM support. Press image of a mid-range devices surfaced recently, but this looks different from the phone. It has a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) pixels super LCD2 display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8625Q processor and runs on Android Jelly Bean (Version is not available yet). It has a 8-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash, BSI sensor and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor. It has HTC BlinkFeed home screen and HTC BoomSound with Dual frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers similar to the HTC One. Samsung Galaxy S4 to come in Blue, Red, Purple and Brown color variants


Samsung released the Galaxy S4 last month, but it was only available Black Mist and White Frost color variants. Samsung announced today that they have shipped 10 million Galaxy S4 globally. The company has also announced that the device would be available in new colors including Blue Arctic and Red Aurora, followed by Purple Mirage and Brown Autumn this summer. Samsung Galaxy S4 shipments surpass 10 million in less than one month

Samsung has announced that the Galaxy S4 sales (to sales channels) has crossed 10 million units globally in less than one month after its launch. Samsung Galaxy Star Duos now available in India for Rs. 4990


Samsung Galaxy Star Duos (GT-S5282),  entry-level Android smartphone is now available India from online retailer Infibeam. It was announced last month along with the Galaxy Pocket Neo and was spotted on the official Samsung website earlier this month. It has a 3-inch (320 x 240 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz  processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 gets a pre-order price in UK, coming in July


Samsung announced the Galaxy Mega 6.3 last month. Online retailer Clove UK has announced that they have started taking pre-orders for the device.  It has a 6.3-inch HD ( 1280 x 720 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED Flash,  a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera and comes with a 3200 mAh battery. It has a 5-inch (480 x 854 pixels) TFT capacitive touch screen IPS display similar to the A110 Canvas 2, but this runs on Android 4.2.1 (Jelly Bean) as rumored and powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor. Sony Xperia L Benchmarks


Sony Xperia L, a mid-range Android smartphone in the Xperia series went on sale in India earlier this month. We brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week. Here we have benchmarks of the device. It has a 4.3-inch (854 x 480 pixels) Scratch-resistant capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8930 CPU with Adreno 305 GPU and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). Xolo A800 gets the Android Jelly Bean update


Xolo has released the Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) update for the A800. The phone was released back in December last year running Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Xolo has mentioned it as Android 4.2 on the Facebook page, but it’s actually Android 4.1.1, which comes pre-loaded on Xolo A1000 and the Q800. Samsung Galaxy S4 Active shows up on video

We’ve previously reported about the Samsung Galaxy S4. The handset was spotted at an event in Croatia and now we’ve got video proof of its existance.
