HTC and Tata Docomo launch the HTC Desire in India

HTC and Tata Docomo have launched the much awaited HTC Desire Android Smartphone in India today. The HTC Desire is also known as a global variant of the Google Nexus One with minor changes in terms of hardware but once get the famous HTC Sense UI on the Desire. The handset is powered by a 1 GHz CPU and sports a 3.7 inch AMOLED Display and a 5MP Camera with Flash.

Picture Gallery: HTC HD mini

I’m back with another brand new Picture Gallery for you, this time i took the HTC HD mini for a spin. The HTC HD mini is a small, very handy Windows Mobile Phone, with HTC Sense UI on top. It has a 600MHz processor, a 3,2″ capacitive touchscreen with 480×320 resolution, a 5 megapixel camera, 1200 mAh Battery and a very nice hardware body. Smartphone Championship: BlackBerry Storm 2 vs MyTouch 3G Slide

The last match of FoneArena Smartphone Championship was between the Nokia N900 and HTC HD2, and the winner of this round is Nokia N900. Nokia N900 won the round by taking 684 votes out of 814, and HTC HD2 only got 130 votes out of 814. That’s a big victory for Nokia N900.

Now lets head to the next match. The next match is between the Blackberry Storm 2 and MyTouch 3G Slide. Storm 2 is no doubt a very good and decent phone. And MyTouch 3G Slide is T-Mobile USA latest device and it’s a successor to MyTouch 3G.

HTC Desire HD spotted in wild

Recently we saw the HTC Desire HD in Vodefone UK inventory. HTC Desire HD is the European version or GSM version of the HTC EVO 4G, but that doesn’t mean that it will come with 4G capabilities. We also saw a few specs of the Desire HD, and they are almost equal to HTC EVO 4G specs.

Folks over at uwants.com got their hands on the first leaked shot of the HTC Desire HD aka HTC Ace. As you can see in the image above, it’s a quite beautiful phone with a huge display like EVO 4G. The image above proves that the phone is running on Android 2.2. It’s a prototype version, and may be we’ll see some changes in the final version.

The device looks very promising, and as Samsung is conquering the mobile market in UK with their Samsung Galaxy S, HTC can’t tolerate it. So HTC is finally making a device specially for UK market, which will give the Galaxy S a hard time.

Smartphone Championship: Nokia N900 vs HTC HD2

The FoneArena Smartphone Championship is getting interesting and tough after every round. The last match was between the Droid X and Samsung GalaxyS, where Galaxy S takes the lead. HTC Paradise and Fiesta Android Handsets Leaked

Two new HTC Handsets the Paraside and the Fiesta have been spotted courtesy of someone who purchased them on Craiglist. These were sold as AT&T Test Units. The Paradise is  a QWERTY slider running Android and reminds us if the HTC Handset which passed by the FCC few months ago.
