It was just last week, when i received a device I was looking forward to a lot: The brand new Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. Set to steer Sony Ericsson out of the swamp they were drowning in, this piece of hotness comes with a 4,2″ LCD screen with a new Bravia Engine technology, an 8MP camera with Exmor R sensor and dual LED flash, 720p video recording at 30fps and continuous autofocus. On top of that all sits Android 2.3 aka Gingerbread, customized by Sony Ericsson. This all comes packed in a 8.9mm thin plastic body. And oh my god, this is really thin. Is it worth the hype? Read that in my upcoming Thoughts from Hell, where i take a closer look at what is hot, and what not with the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc. In the meantime, feast your eyes on yet another of my picture galleries.
I have been invited to a nice little event here from Nokia Austria, dubbed “Nokia Deep Dive”. The whole event was made to show a handful of bloggers and developers here in Austria, the newly introduced Symbian Anna and the 2 new devices that will come with it out of the box, the Nokia E6 and X7.
Hello everyone to another one of my photo galleries! This time i got my hands on Nokia’s successor of the great Communicator series, the Nokia E7! Announced at Nokia World in September 2010, the E7 has gathered a nice following of fans who could not wait to get their hands on one (I’m looking at you, Trentsense :D) Enjoy my pictures of the Nokia E7 in all it’s details!

The Nokia E71 was (and still is, in many person’s opinions) the king of candybar QWERTYs from Nokia & Symbian. But the E71 is now 2 years old and has been replaced by a new iteration, the Nokia E72, and surprisingly another design, the E5. From the looks of it, the E5 is to the E72 what the E63 was to the E71 (no, this isn’t an IQ test question), a cheaper version that compromises on some aspects while still trying to retain the charming points of the original.
Below, is a point-by-point table comparison à-la-Steve Litchfield, between the E72 & E5, with the godfather of the two, the E71, thrown in for good measure. You can click on the image to access a slightly larger version. Continue reading “QWERTY Battle: E5, E71, E72 Extensive Table & Pictures Comparison”
I’m back with another brand new Picture Gallery for you, this time i took the HTC HD mini for a spin. The HTC HD mini is a small, very handy Windows Mobile Phone, with HTC Sense UI on top. It has a 600MHz processor, a 3,2″ capacitive touchscreen with 480×320 resolution, a 5 megapixel camera, 1200 mAh Battery and a very nice hardware body. I’ll have more to say in my upcoming review, in the meanwhile, enjoy those tasty pics, which you can find on my Flickr Page in full resolution!
Another Picture Gallery for you today, this time i got my hands on a brand new HTC Desire (thanks Richard!). I will not review this Device since it is not mine, but I had it in my hands for around 15 minutes some time ago, and i must say, that if someone asks me for a decent Android Device, my answer is, within the blink of an eye, the HTC Desire. That is of course as long as the Evo 4G is not available here in Europe.
A great Design, white Colour with some Chrome Accents, a gigantic 4″ capacitive Touchscreen with a 854×480 Resolution, a 8.1 Megapixel Camera, Android OS with a major overhauled Interface and much more. Is the X10 Sony Ericssons (literally) big Saviour? Will it hold up to the Expectations!?
Hey! I’m back with a brand new Picture Gallery, this Time i took some Pictures of the Nokia X6, which is Nokia’s next music-orientated Device. I had the X6 for some Weeks now, thanks to Nokia Austria, and must say I really like it.
