HTC has introduced the Desire 828 dual sim, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone in the Desire series in China, after it got certified by TENAA back in August. It is the successor of Desire 826 dual sim that was launched in India recently. It packs a similar 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and has an Ultrapixel front-facing camera, but this is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753, instead of Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor in the Desire 826. HTC reports $139 million net loss for Q3 2015, will stop earnings forecasts

HTC recently reported net loss of NT$4.48 billion (US$138 million) for Q3 2015 in its unaudited results, now in its consolidated results it has reported a net loss of NT$4.5 billion ($139 million), on revenue of NT$21.4 billion ($660 million) for its fiscal 2015 third quarter that ended September 30, 2015. HTC launched the Desire 728 dual sim, a mid-range 4G smartphone in China last month. Now the company is all set to launch the Desire 728G dual sim, a variant of the smartphone with 3G connectivity and dual SIM support with dual GSM SIMs or GSM + CDMA option. It has 1.5GB of RAM, compared to 2GB of RAM in the Desire 728 and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) HTC’s own Sense UI on top. HTC has introduced One M9e, a version of One M9 in China. It got certified last month and packs a 5-inch 1080p display, is powered by an 2.2GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795T) Octa-Core 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash, optical image stabilization (OIS) and an UltraPixel front-facing camera. It has dual front-facing BoomSound speakers and Dolby Audio. HTC Grip wearable fitness tracker delayed till Q1 2016

HTC announced Grip, its GPS enabled wearable fitness tracker at the MWC 2015 in partnership with Under Armour. Earlier this year HTC said that it will launch the fitness tracker later this year. HTC One A9 with 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, Android 6.0, 7.2mm slim metal body announced

HTC has announced One A9, the company’s first One A series smartphone. It has a 5-inch full HD AMOLED, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 617 processor and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with HTC Sense UI on top. HTC says that the unlocked version will get Android updates within 15 days once Google pushes out the update for the Nexus devices. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that improves camera’s focus, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), RAW image capture and an Ultrapixel front-facing camera. It got certified in China back in June and packs a 5.5-inch HD display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752M 64-bit processor and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with HTC’s own Sense UI. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and an UltraPixel front-facing camera.

HTC confirms Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for 12 smartphones, roll out begins 2015-end

Google announced at yesterday’s event that it will roll out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for Nexus devices starting from next week. Soon after that HTC confirmed the list of phones that will get Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update. HTC’s global online communications manager Jeff Gordon said that the One M9 and One M8 smartphones will get the update before the end of this year.

HTC schedules event on October 20 for new Android Marshmallow device, One A9 expected

HTC has sent out invites for its event on October 20th, where it will introduce a new smartphone running Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). The invite just says #BeBrilliant on a charcoal background, which hints at the Carbon Gray color of the leaked HTC One A9. HTC introduces new One M9+ with 21MP camera, Laser AF and OIS

HTC today introduced an upgraded One M9+ Aurora Edition smartphone with a better camera, along with the international version of the Butterfly 3, as expected. The One M9+ that was announced back in April and launched in India the same month has a 20.7MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, 27.8mm lens and a secondary depth sensing camera, the new One M9+ Aurora Edition has a 21MP camera with 26.7mm lens, f/2.2 aperture and the secondary camera has been replaced by Laser Auto Focus for faster focus. It also has phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF) that further improves the camera’s focus and also includes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS).
