Asus Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) and MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) launched in India for Rs. 10999 and Rs. 19999

Asus has launched the Fonepad 7 (FE171CG) and MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) tablets in India. The new Fonepad 7 was unveiled at the CES earlier this year and packs a  7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The MeMO Pad 8 (ME581CL) that was announced at the Computex last year has a 8-inch (1200×1920 pixels) IPS display, is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor, comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. Asus Zenfone 2 ZE500CL with 5-inch HD display, Android 5.0 surfaces

Asus has introduced Zenfone 2 ZE500CL, a smaller 5-inch variant of the 5.5-inch ZenFone 2 (ZE551ML) model that was announced at the CES last month. This was showcased at an event in Taiwan recently, but it is not listed on the official website yet, so the specifications might not be completely correct. Asus has announced Fonepad 7 FE375CL, the company’s latest Fonepad 7 variant with LTE support and Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has the same 7-inch HD display seen on Asus Fonepad 7 (FE375CG) that was introduced last year, but this is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3530 processor and comes with single SIM support. ASUS ZenPower 9600mAh power bank announced

ASUS has introduced ZenPower, the company’s first 9600mAh portable power bank in Taiwan. It was originally introduced at the CES last month only to selected media and competes with Xiaomi’s 10400mAh power bank. It even looks similar to the Xiaomi Mi power bank. It weighs 215 grams and is 18mm thick, slightly lighter and thinner than the Mi 10400mAh power bank that weighs 250g and is 21.6mm thick. Other dimensions are almost similar. Asus has announced Zenfone C (ZC451CG), the company’s latest budget smartphone in the Zenfone series in Malaysia. It has almost similar specifications as the Asus Zenfone 4 (A450CG) that was launched last year, but the camera has been downgraded to 5-megapixel and the battery has been upgraded to 2100mAh. ASUS Zenfone 5 with 2GB RAM, 1.2GHz Z2520 processor launched for Rs. 7999

ASUS Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5 smartphones received a price cut in India earlier this month. Now ASUS has released a new 8GB variant of the Zenfone 5 (A501CG) to Rs. 7,999 for Republic Day. The Zenfone 5 was launched for Rs. 9,999 last year and got a price cut to Rs. 9,499 earlier this month. According to ASUS, this new variant has 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Z2520 Processor, but it retains the same 2GB RAM and 5-inch HD display, unlike 1GB RAM and 5-inch qHD display in the Zenfone 5 Lite. It has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display with 5.06mm narrow bezel bezel and a screen-to-body ratio of 72.2%, is powered by a 1.33 GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 processor with PowerVR Series 6 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Zen UI. Asus has announced Fonepad 7 (FE171CG), a refreshed variant of last year’s Fonepad 7 at the CES this year. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with PowerVR SGX544 GPU, similar to the Asus Fonepad 7 FE170CG that was launched in India last year, but this runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, comes with a 8-megapixel or 5-megapixel rear camera, 1GB or 2GB RAM depending on the region. Asus Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5 get a price cut in India

Asus Zenfone 4 and Zenfone 5 smartphone have received a price cut in India. The Zenfone 4 (A400CG) was launched in India for Rs. 5,999 last year and the Zenfone 5 was launched for Rs. 9,999 for 8GB and Rs. 12,999 for 16GB. There is no price cut for the Zenfone 4 (A450CG), which still retails Rs. 6,999.  The Zenfone series received Android 4.4 (KitKat) update last year. Check out the new pricing below. ASUS unveils ZenFone Zoom with 3x optical zoom

ASUS along with the ZenFone 2 has announced ZenFone Zoom at its event in Las Vegas. ASUS CEO Jonney Shih during his presentation showcased the company’s latest camera phone.
