Asus introduced the Zenfone 2 smartphone at CES earlier this year, which will be launched in India in three variant on April 23rd. We brought you the unboxing and photo gallery of the Zenfone 2 ZE551ML recently, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 clocked at 2.33 GHz with PowerVR G6430 GPU and has 4GB RAM. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Zen UI on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below.

We unboxed the Zenfone 2 ZE500C, showed off the Zen UI based on Android Lollipop and gameplay demo recently. The Zenfone 2 ZE500CL has a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor. The smartphone has Miracast screen mirroring support and also supports USB OTG. Here is a demo video that shows both these features.

The Asus Zenfone family did a lot of good for Asus last year to make inroads into the Indian mobile market and it was a success globally too. The Zenfone 2 which was announced at CES 2015 earlier this year looks to capitalize on the success of the Zenfone with some improvements and different versions. We got our hands on the ZenFone 2 ZE500CL version, which is the entry level version of the device which has gone on sale in Taiwan and Europe.
