Asus launched the ZenPower, a 10050mAh portable power bank in India last month during the Zenfone 2 launch. Today the Taiwanese company has announced that the power bank will go on sale in the country from May 15th. The Asus ZenPower has 11 layers of protection and adds extra layer of tactile toughness which is soft to touch, scratch and impact resistant, says the company.
It features a full USB port with 5V/2.4V output, a micro USB slot for charging, power button and four LED lights. It has in 5V/2.1V input and weight just 215 grams. According to Asus, the PowerSafe Technology also monitors temperature, controls both input and output voltages, and guards against short circuits providing maximum safety while charging.

The Asus ZenPower 10050mAh Power Bank is priced at Rs. 1,499 for the Silver, Pink, Blue and Gold variants, while the Black variant is priced at Rs. 1599. It will be available May 15th through ASUS Exclusive stores and Flipkart. It competes with the Xiaomi’s 10400mAh Mi Power bank and the recently launch Huawei Honor AP007 13000mAh power bank and the OnePlus 10000mAh power bank.
