A few days back, we showed you the Asus ZenPad 7 and ZenPad 8 that was leaked from the FCC database. The Asus ZenPad which has a 4:3 screen aspect ratio has now been leaked in a few press photo renders. The device is rumored to be scheduled for an announced at Computex in Taiwan between June 2nd to 5th.

There will apparently be two sizes for the ZenPad. An 8″ model with 2048×1536 pixels resolution and a 7″ model with a lot 1024×640 pixels resolution. Both the tablets are likely to sport dual front facing stereo speakers and will have a 4:3 screen aspect ratio much like Apple’s iPads.

The back of the device has an interesting dual layer type design where the major part seems to be plastic and the bottom/side lip depending on how you hold the tablet, seems to have a leather finish. Probably the primary reason is to improve the grip but we also think, it is to facilitate the use of some sort of cover for the ZenPad.

The 7 inch model is expected to be powered by an Intel Atom X3 processor, 1GB of RAM, 2 Megapixel rear camera and VGA front facing camera. The device will have a 3950mAH battery which should be good enough considering the screen resolution and will be available in both 8 as well as 16GB variants. The 8 inch variant will be available either with an Intel Atom Z3560 or Z3530 processor and will have 2GB of RAM. The cameras remains the same as the ones on the 7 inch version however apart from the 8/16GB memory variants, you will also get 32/64GB variants on the 8 inch model.

Both the devices will also support microSD card slots and will run Android Lollipop 5.0 out of the box.
