Apple iPhone 6 to feature Sony’s 13MP Exmor camera sensor?

Apple reportedly hires Tag Heuer VP of sales for iWatch

Apple has hired Patrick Pruniaux, Vice President of Sales and Retail at Tag Heuer, according to a report from 9to5 Mac. Tag Heuer CEO revealed in an interview to CNBC that Apple has hired sales director of luxury Swiss watch maker TAG Heuer for its iWatch. Apple has been in a hiring spree, adding several people to its iWatch team. Last year it hired Nike design director Ben Shaffer and earlier this year the company reportedly hired a sleep expert from Philips. Apple’s iWatch to reportedly come in Sports and Designer models

Last week Reuters reported that the iWatch will boast a 2.5 inch screen. Today, another report is suggesting that the iWatch will come in two different models. Pocketnow is stating that the iWatch will come in ‘Sports’ and ‘Designer’ style with former being rectangular with a rubber strap and later being round and stainless steel.

Quanta to begin manufacturing Apple iWatch with 2.5″ screen, Pulse Sensor in July

It is an open secret that Apple is working on a wearable device. The iWatch as it has been termed by industry pundits is expected to tie in heavily with Cupertino’s Healthkit push. Now, via a report published by Reuters, we have access to a few more details about the upcoming smartwatch.

The report suggests that Apple has adopted a seemingly large 2.5 inch screen with a ‘slightly rectangular face‘. What that means remains open for interpretation but we suspect that it refers to rounded corners. Owing to the size of the display, the fascia is expected to protrude from the band instead of sitting flush with it.
