Facebook for iOS now supports Live Photos

Facebook’s iOS app is adding support for Live Photos feature, that debuted on Apple’s recently launched iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. Uploading a Live Photo to Facebook is same as uploading a normal photo from your camera roll.

Microsoft has scooped up Talko mobile messaging app for on-the-go business communications for an  undisclosed sum. The company will use Talko’s tech to “fuel future innovation” in Skype and Skype for Business.

Evernote to pull the plug on Skitch for Android, iOS and Windows

Evernote today announced that it will pull the plug on its standalone apps such as Skitch for Windows, Windows Touch, iOS, Android, Evernote Clearly and Evernote for Pebble starting today. However the Skitch for Mac app will continue to be available and supported. It acquired Skitch, a popular image annotation application back in 2011 and launched the app for Android, later it was launched for iPad and iPhone. Flappy Bird creator Dong Nguyen’s .GEARS released Swing Copters game for Android and iOS platforms last August, now its sequel has arrived for both the platforms. In this game you need to control a pilot equipped with a copter-hat to fly through obstacles to get points, similar to the first one, but this adds new obstacles such as swinging hammers. It also has more characters and there is a story for them, but this game will be much more challenging, says the team.
