Google Hangouts joins the elite club of apps that has crossed 1 Billion downloads on the Play Store. Till today, there have been ten apps that have crossed the milestone out of which 3 of them were Facebook apps while the other 7 were Google’s own apps.

Amazon Appstore offers over $45 worth free apps and games for limited period

This month it offers 21 paid Android apps and games worth over $45 for free on the Amazon AppStore starting today till July 1st.  These apps are usually priced between US$ 0.99 and US$ 11.99. Some popular apps and games include, The Bard’s Tale, Table Top Racing, AVG AntiVirus PRO Android Security and more. Last month Amazon Appstore offered 33 paid Android apps and games worth $110. LINE Popcorn Buzz for iPhone

LINE Corporation launched Popcorn Buzz, a group calling app for Android earlier this month. Now the company has launched the app for iPhone users. The free app allows up to 200 participants to simultaneously converse. You can start using Popcorn Buzz simply by choosing a username and uploading a profile picture. Once set up, you can create a group and send each group call’s unique URL via email, text message, other apps.
