Lenovo K3 Note vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G – What’s Different?
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G can brag about being one of the first cheap phablets on the Indian market to come out with 4G support. It was announced in November last year and made available at the end of December for a price of Rs 9,999. Since then, Xiaomi has seen good success with it as many people have purchased the smartphone for its features as well as its 4G capability at a low price. Since then, many manufacturers have tried to follow the same mantra and launched their own devices at similar prices and packing similar features. The price of the Redmi Note 4G has been reduced to Rs 7,999 last month but since then Lenovo has hit the market with the K3 Note which also retails at a price of Rs 9,999 which was the original asking rate for the Redmi Note 4G. Although it is costlier, it does offer a few improvements and unique features that probably justify the price. Let’s take a look at the specifications and features of both the devices.

Xiaomi might release a version of the Mi 4i that’s powered by the Snapdragon 808
The Xiaomi Mi 4i is a cheaper version of the Mi 4 with slightly downgraded specifications. The current Mi 4i which was launched in India by Xiaomi features a Snapdragon 615 processor. However it seems that they are planning to release a version which is powered by the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor.

Xiaomi has posted a teaser for the launch of a new product on July 16th on weibo. This just shows PK with a slim metal frame of a product placed in the middle. Xiaomi could unveil the Mi 5 and Mi 5 Plus smartphone since the company introduced the Mi 4 in July last year. We can also expect the Redmi Note 2. Xiaomi has announced that it has sold 34.7 million smartphones in the first half of 2015. This is a 33% increase compared to its sales in the first half of last year, which was 26.11 million. It sold 61.12 million smartphones in 2014, exceeding ts 60 million target. Xiaomi founder Lei Jun already announced that the company aims to sell 100 million smartphones in 2015. Xiaomi expands to Brazil, partners with Foxconn to manufacture smartphones locally

Xiaomi has expanded to Brazil on Tuesday, as expected, which is the company’s first expansion outside Asia. Hugo Barra launched the Redmi 2 smartphone in the country. Xiaomi has partnered with Foxconn International Holdings to locally manufacture all handsets sold in Brazil to avoid import duties.
