Kik Messenger Introduces New Symbian, Windows Phone Apps At Nokia World

The cross platform messenger service Kik today launched its Symbian and updated Windows Phone apps at the Nokia World conference in London. The messenger competes with the likes of WhatsApp and is also  available on iOS , Android and Blackberry platforms. With the new Symbian app Kik Messenger users should be able to communicate regardless of platform of choice.

Google to operate Motorola “At arm’s length”

The search gian, implored that the other Android manufacturers had nothing to be vexed about, when Motorola was taken over by Google. Not allowing it any particular favors or privileges, they would operate Motorola as a wholly discrete unit. Ingeminating this claim, during a Wednesday evening interview at AsiaD, Google mobile chief Andy Rubin said ‘that the companydidn’t buy Motorola for its hardware, but for its patents.

After a bad week in court, Samsung hears some dandy news. While Apple claimed “Samsung misrepresented its intent to license certain patents on fair terms”, federal judge Lucy Koh in California has disregarded some of Apple’s antitrust claims against Samsung. Nevertheless, Apple can still reform it by revising their complaint.
