We already saw the Apple iPhone 5 and 4S names appear on Cincinnati Bell. Now Apple has accidentally revealed the iPhone 4S name in the latest iTunes beta that was released on Friday.

The Apple iPhone 5 and the 4S may just be a day or two away from the official announcement but that hasn’t stopped rumors for the next generation iPhone 6 from surfacing.

Let’s talk iPhone , this is what the invite sent by Apple to some media outlets looks like and Engadget got hold of one. The rumour about an iPhone event on Oct 4th was first reported by AllThingsD and it’s turned out to be true. The event takes place on October 4th at 10am at the Apple Campus at 1 , Infinite Loop. We are not sure if Apple would launch only one device as there has been a lot of talk about a cheaper iPhone as well.

Apple’s next generation iPhone/iPhone 5 is easily the most anticipated gadget this year. The launch date has been speculated numerous times but we still have no announcement so far. But latest rumours suggest October 4th as a more than likely day for Apple to hold an event and announce the next generation iPhones.

Apple has been suing HTC from a long time for infringing various patents, just recently we had heard Apple telling that the whole idea of Android was taken from Apple because Andy Rubin who is the godfather of Android used to work for Apple some 20 years back, but this was not used in the case as Andy Rubin does not really work for HTC. Now HTC has had it enough and with the help of Google are trying to sue Apple.

Just last month Apple had filed an Injunction against the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 which was valid only in Germany, today the Dusseldorf court has said that the Galaxy Tab 10.1 does infringe some of Apple’s patents.

A forum poster over at MacRumors has just posted an image of what appears to be the upcoming iPhone 5. The device appears to have returned to the curved design paradigm of the previous generations.
