The iPad was not the first tablet to be launched in the market. Several players had tried and failed in the tablet category. The iPad managed to become so popular and became a golden standard for the tablet market. 2017 marks the 7th anniversary of the iPad and over time interest in tablets has declined and the excitement around the iPad has reduced.
7 years later, Apple has managed to get consumers excited again with the introduction of the new iPad Pro devices and iOS 11 which gives a fresh lease of life for even older iPads models. Apple introduced the iPad Pro 10.5 at WWDC in June and this device replaced the iPad Pro 9.7. Here is my review of the iPad Pro 10.5 after using it for the past few weeks.

TellTale games, the developers of the “Game of the Year 2012 – The Walking Dead”, had released their next game based on the Fables short stories, “The Wolf Among Us”, for console and PC earlier. It is now also available for the iPhone and iPad on the app store. This is keeping up with the tradition of releasing their game on the most popular mobile platform(for games), as they had done the same with The Walking Dead. With cell shaded graphics and an amazingly immersive story line that changes based on the decisions you make, The Wolf Among Us seeks to continue the awesome story telling that TellTale is known for. It has received rave reviews from critics all around, and in the mobile form, the point and click game should be as good as how the Walking dead game was, or at least we hope.

Apple has just announced the refresh to its iPad lineup with the new iPad Air and the iPad mini with retina display. The iPad Air not just gains a new name, it also gains a new thin and light design. Learning from the engineering of its own iPad mini, the iPad Air loses a lot of weight to weigh just a pound, while thinning down its bezels and overall thickness to just 7.5 mm. The iPad Air also looks a lot like the iPad mini in terms of the design language with beautifully rounded corners, chamfered edges and a smooth finish for the back. The internals also gain a generational boost with the new A7 64 bit processor that debuted on the iPhone 5s. Apple marks a 72x increase in graphics performance when compared to the original iPad which makes things interesting.
