According to the e-commerce giant, the sale event witnessed over 55% growth in new sellers when compared to 2020, a 6 times growth in top artisans and weaver partners from the Flipkart Samarth program and more.

OPPO today launched the ColorOS 12, the next major update based on Android 12 for its smartphone in an online event, as it had announced. OPPO said that ColorOS 6 was pushed to 65 million users, 100 million users got ColorOS 7, and last year’s ColorOS 11 was pushed to 115 million users, and this year the company is aiming even higher for the ColorOS 12. It said that there are over 440 million ColorOS users worldwide in 68 countries as of July 2021 which is 19% YoY growth from 2020. BSNL has announced the first ever successful test of their indigenously developed 4G cellular network in Chandigarh. The technology which was designed, developed and made in India was tested with a successful call made between the Department of Telecom secretary and Telecom Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.

When it comes to laptops, there is a constant struggle between power and portability. For the longest time, manufacturers could not create a laptop that is both powerful or portable, largely due to the limitations of thermals. Update: October 11, 2021 – OnePlus has confirmed most of the specifications of the 9RT and also posted the official image of the phone ahead of the announcement on Wednesday. It will come with a Samsung E4 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 600Hz touch sampling rate. OEMs preload phones with apps to improve user experience, but not all the preloaded apps and features are important to all users or some users have their own preferred app for a particular task, for example, most of the users prefer Google Calendar and Keep Notes over Custom Calendar and Notes apps that come pre-installed with the device. Google already confirmed that it will introduce the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro smartphones on October 19th. Even though most specifications of the smartphone is out, now the product page is out on Carphone Warehouse site that reveals more details about the phones. This confirms Android security updates for at least five years, but it is not clear if this will also be the same for Android OS updates, as rumored earlier. Update: After rumours, Motorola today confirmed the launch of the launch of the moto e40 smartphone in India on October 12th. It was also introduced in Brazil this week, and it will be sold on Flipkart in India, similar to other motorola phones. The company also introduced the moto e30 with similar specifications, but this will be sold in Europe and Latin America.
Update: October 8, 2021 – Apple has started taking pre-orders for the Apple Watch Series 7 in India. It comes in both GPS and GPS + Cellular options which will work with Airtel, Jio and Vodafone Idea.
