LG Optimus 4X HD starts rolling out in Europe

LG has announced that the Optimus 4X HD would be available in Europe from today starting from Germany. It would be available in Netherlands, Sweden, Great Britain, Italy and other European major countries followed by it as they announced last month. The LG Optimus 4X HD was announced at MWC 2012 and it has 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) True HD IPS display and is powered by 1.5GHz Quad-core Tegra 3 processor. HTC One X – HTC’s next big thing?

I remember seeing the HTC One X for the first time in Barcelona at Mobile World Congress, announced from Peter Chou himself. I was a little bit confused at first. This announcement didn’t exactly sound like HTC. New materials, new tech, new direction. I was surprised and I gotta say, HTC did a nice job in keeping their word. The One X felt so different from the rest of their smartphones, which all kinda looked the same. Fast forward and here’s me, sitting with my own One X, yes I have indeed purchased one. My colour of choice was white, as it just looks extremely charming. Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos (GSM + GSM) now available in India for Rs. 13299


Samsung Galaxy Ace DUOS (GT- S6802) that was announced few week back is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. This is a Dual SIM GSM phone with Dual SIM Active, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Ace DUOS (GT-I589) that was launched in India back in February with Dual SIM GSM + CDMA support.  It has unique Dual SIM always on feature automatically forwards calls from the phone number on SIM 2, even if a user is on the phone with SIM 1’s number. It has 3.5-inch (320 x 480 Pixels) TFT display and is powered by 832 MHz processor. Samsung offers additional Rs.1500 coupon for Galaxy S3 Pre-Order Customers in India

Samsung India launched the Galaxy S3 Smartphone in India at Rs.43180 and pre-order customers had to purchase it Rs.42500 which was a little higher than the market price of around Rs.38900.if you were one of the customers who had pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S3 on Samsung India’s eStore and purchased it , good news for you. Samsung has sent out mails to customers who had purchased the Galaxy S3 on the eStore with a coupon worth Rs.1500. the company says in the mail that they are “overwhelmed with the response of Galaxy S III on the eStore.”

LG Optimus 3D Max now available in India for Rs. 28990


LG Optimus 3D Max is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. It was announced at MWC 2012 earlier this year and is the successor of the LG Optimus 3D that was launched last year and it comes with 4.3-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 2 protection that would offer Glasses-Free 3D viewing and is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core processor. HTC Desire V dual-SIM phone with Android 4.0, Beats audio announced

HTC has announced Desire V, its first Dual-SIM smartphone for Europe and Asia. It is officially announced in Ukraine and Indonesia and features a 4-inch WVGA touch screen display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4. It is powered by 1GHz single-core Qualcomm processor and has 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash and has Beats audio support. It is 9.3 mm thick and weighs 114 g. The Motorola DEFY XT is dustproof, scratch-resistant and water resistant and has 3.7-inch (480 x 854 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by 1 GHz processor, 5 MP auto-focus camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. The Motorola DEFY Mini is a Dual-SIM phone that is dustproof and water resistant. Nokia Asha 311 Photo Gallery

At the Nokia Strategy Summit in Chennai today ,  I had the chance to check out the Nokia Asha 311 which was announced only yesterday  along with the Nokia Asha 305 and 306.  Entry level phones are generally slow and boring but you would be surprised at what the 311 packs. In fact , it’s the sexiest entry level Nokia phone I have played with in quite some time. While Nokia call the latest Asha phones as Asha Smartphones , they are still pretty much feature phones.  The phone is insanely fast for its segment and may be even faster than some Symbian phones and entry level Android phones as it packs a 1GHz processor.
