LinkedIn crosses 300 million members globally

LinkedIn has announced that is has surpassed 300 million registered users from 200 countries across the globe. Out of these 300 million members, 67% actually comes from outside the United States. The professional social network touted that it has added more than 23 million members since December 31, 2013.

It was announced at the MWC 2014 and packs a 4.8-inch (960 x 540 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). Google rumored to be working on a budget Nexus smartphone

Google is reportedly working on a low budget Nexus smartphone and has teamed up with Taiwanese chip maker MediaTek for the same, according to a Chinese website MTKSJ. The entry-level Nexus is rumoured to be priced as low as $100 (about Rs 6,000) and hence will fall in the category of lower mid-range phones.

HTC has launched the HTC One (M8) successor of last year’s HTC One (M7) in India. It was announced back in February and has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD display with Corning Gorilla glass protection, powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with the new HTC Sense 6.0 UI. It has Duo camera setup with a primary UltraPixel camera (1/3″ BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 28mm lens, pixel size of 2.0 microns) and a secondary rear camera to capture depth information.
