Cinemagram, one of the popular iPhone apps is finally available for Android. This app lets you  record a short looping 4s video, apply effects and share the GIFs to Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr. It has likes, comments, hashtags and more just like Instagram that was launched for Android last year. Viber has launched a new beta version for the BlackBerry OS 5 and OS 7 devices that brigs VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) calling support over WiFi and 3G, as they promised. The Viber for Android had voice calling feature since the launch back in May 2011. Voice calling feature for the Viber app for BlackBerry and Windows phone has been the most expected feature since the first beta release back in May 2012. Viber for Windows Phone 8 got voice calling with HD voice and lots more new features in the latest update earlier this month. Nokia 105 launched in India for Rs. 1249

Nokia has launched the 105, an affordable entry-level phone in India as we reported last week.  The Nokia 105 was announced at the MWC 2013 back in February, and would replace the Nokia 1280. It has a 1.45-inch (128 x 128 pixels) 65k Colour TFT Display, has FM Radio support and comes with Nokia Life which sold more than 100 million units in its lifetime.  The Nokia 105 is based on Nokia’s Series 30 platform similar to the Nokia 100 and 101 affordable entry-level phones that were launched in India last year. It has dust-and splash-proof keypad and offers up to 12.5 hours of talk time and up to 35 days of standby. Micromax A72 Canvas Viva officially launched for Rs. 6499

Micromax has officially launched the A72 Canvas Viva, the company’s latest budget Android smartphone in the budget series. The Micromax A72 surfaced online earlier this week, and went on sale online couple of days back. It packs a 5-inch (480 x 800 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, 1 GHz single-core MediaTek MT6515 processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It ccomes with 2G (EDGE) support, has a 3-megapixel camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has Hindi and English language support. Karbonn Smart Tab TA-FONE A37 went on sale online earlier today, now Karbonn Smart Tab TA-FONE A34 is on sale from online retailer Infibeam.  It has a 7-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display similar to the A37, but it comes with a 1GHz single-core processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It has 2G support, voice calling and SMS through dual SIM card slots similar to the Penta T-Pad WS708C and the Swipe Halo Value Tablet  that were launched recently. LG LTE smartphone sales cross 5 million units in Korea

LG has announced that they have sold more than 10 million LTE smartphones in their home ground Korea. Last month the company announced that their LTE smartphone sales have cross 10 million units globally. LG announced the Optimus LTE, their first LTE smartphone in Korea back in October 2011, and shipped over 600,000 units in Korea alone in just 100 days after the launch. The global shipments of Optimus LTE crossed the 1 million mark last January. ZTE GEEK with Intel Atom Z2580 Clover Trail+ debuts at IDF

Over at the Intel Developer Forum in Beijing, ZTE has announced its first phone powered by the new 32nm Intel Atom Z2580 processor. The Clover Trail+ platform delivers performance that is twice as fast as the platform that it replaces in terms of computing power. The GPU core is three times faster and Intel has focussed on reducing power consumption.

Google Cloud Print is already available for Chrome for Android, Google Drive for Android, Gmail Mobile app. Google released the Chrome app for iPhone and iPad last June. We are currently at a stage in which screen sizes of phones have become obnoxiously huge and whenever a manufacturer releases its flagship, it’s almost a certainty that it is going to be bigger than the previous flagship. This is the trend, and some people were sick of it, including some of us. Nokia Lumia 521 headed to T-Mobile USA

Nokia has announced the Lumia 521 exclusively for the T-Mobile USA. It features a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8227 processor and runs on the latest Windows Phone 8 OS. It has a 5MP auto focus camera at the back with 720p HD video recording. The phone is identical to the Lumia 520 in terms of hardware, but supports 4G on T-Mobile and has the carrier branding on the bottom.
