Google launched the Huawei-made Nexus 6P smartphone in India back in October. We have already seen the unboxing and benchmarks of the smartphone, here we have the battery life test results. The Nexus 6P has a 3450mAh built-in battery, comes with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 support and also comes bundled with a fast charger. Airtel launches new data plans with unlimited validity starting at Rs. 22

Airtel has launched three new data plans with unrestricted / unlimited validity for its prepaid customers. “This is a first-of-its-kind innovation in India’s prepaid mobile that breaks away from the conventional validity expiry model and offers early data users the flexibility of consuming internet services without worrying about expiry of the validity period – thus delivering maximum value,” said the company. HTC One X9 with 5.5-inch 1080p display, 7.9mm metal body, 13MP camera with OIS announced

HTC just announced the One X9 smartphone, the company’s latest mid range smartphone in the new ‘One X’ series, as it promised. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio X10 processor. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, BSI sensor, optical image stabilization (OIS) that can detect shake in 0.125 milliseconds, 4K video recording and RAW image capture. Android version is not clear yet, but there are chances that it might be running on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), similar to the One A9. Earlier this month there was a rumor that Samsung might be working on the Galaxy S7 Plus, S7 Edge and S7 Edge Plus smartphones, in addition to its Galaxy S7flagship smartphone. Now images of the cases for the Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus have surfaced, giving us a hint of the design of these smartphones. This reveals rectangular home button and raised rear camera sensor, but the overall design of these smartphones are expected to be similar to the Galaxy S6 series.

LG V10 sales surpass 4,50,000 units in the US in 45 days

LG today announced that the sales of its V10 smartphone has crossed 4,50,000 units in the US in just 45 days after the launch. It was launched in the US at the end of October and went on sale across major US carriers in early November. In the US it sold at the rate of 10,000 units per day on average, said the company.  Commenting on the sales, it said that it was popular among the younger generation, with 37% of its US consumers aged between 25 and 34.

Idea launches 4G LTE services in 75 towns in South India

Idea Cellular, today launched its 4G LTE services across five states in South India – Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. In the first phase it will be available across 75 Towns in Southern India, which includes Kochi, Hosur, Kadapa, Malapuram, Madurai, Mysore, Rajahmundry, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli, Tiruppur, Vijayawada and Vishakhapatnam, while Belgaum, Calicut, Cuddalore, Chitradurga, Guntur, Kakinada, Kancheepuram and Trichur will follow by 31st December 2015, said Idea.
