Xiaomi has finally launched its Redmi Note 3 smartphone in India, as it had promised last week. It packs a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, is powered by a Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 (Snapdragon 618 previously) processor, runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) with MIUI 7 top, a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash and phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), resulting in a quick focus of just 0.1 second and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. At the event Hugo Barra said that the third Xiaomi smartphone to be ‘Made In India’ after the Redmi 2 Prime and the Redmi Note Prime. Vuclip Viu OTT video on demand service launched in India

Vuclip has launched Viu, an Over-the-Top (OTT) video-on-demand (VOD) service in India. The service is built on Vuclip’s patented Dynamic Adaptive Transcoding technology. Viu is coming to India following its launches in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore.

uberMOTO motorbike service launched in India starting from Bangalore

After launching uberMOTO in Thailand, Bangkok, Uber today launched started piloting its motorbike service in Bangalore, India. This lets you book a ride on a motorcycle at the push of a button and it is the most affordable Uber ride ever at as low as Rs. 3 per KM and a base fare of Rs. 15. It recently shuttered its auto-rickshaw pilot in India. So the company might continue the uberMOTO service only if it is successful. LG V10 Review

LG had quite a disappointing year in 2015 due to lackluster sales of the LG G4. The G4 was a brilliant smartphone in many ways but still failed to gain momentum owing to a few factors. The primary factor being the build quality and materials used. Samsung had to find out the hard way about how essential the build quality and premium feel is for handsets, especially flagships. LG too have learnt that by now and their new flagship, the G5 is an indication of the new direction they are heading in. But there was a handset that was released last year that received lesser attention than it should, the LG V10. On paper at least, the smartphone seemed to offer one of the most complete packages in the flagship category. In this review, we will be taking a look at the smartphone in detail and seeing whether or not all the impressive features and specifications actually impress us in real life too.

Sony launched its flagship Xperia Z3+ smartphone in India back in June last year for Rs. 55,990, now the smartphone is available for just Rs. 25,999 in the country from Amazon.in. Sony didn’t change much in the Xperia Z3+ from the Z3. The major change was Octa-Core Snapdragon 810 processor, but it comes with the same 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Triluminos Display and has Sony’s Omni balance design with glass back.
