BlackBerry KEY2 with 4.5-inch FHD+ 3:2 display, QWERTY keyboard, Snapdragon 660, 6GB RAM, 12MP dual rear cameras, Speed Key announced

Amazon Fire TV Cube 4K HDR streaming media player with Alexa, far-field voice recognition announced

After Fire TV Stick, Amazon has introduced Fire TV Cube, a bigger Fire TV streaming device that plugs into an HDTV that lets you watch movies, TV shows, use apps and play games. It is powered by a quad-core processor, has 802.11ac dual-band WiFi as well as Ethernet port. It also comes bundled with a voice remote that lets you search Amazon Video content using just your voice. Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 10 globally at the Redmi Y2 launch event in India today. We already know that MIUI 10 includes performance improves, better full screen experience with gestures, better Recents, Nature sounds, Ambient noises and AI Portrait mode. As usual, the company announced new MIUI 10 features for the Indian users that includes option to scan Paytm QR codes directly in the Camera app, Progressive web app support, use quick menus in Messaging and option to listen to songs and videos in your native language in Mi Music and Mi Video.

Airtel today announced that it is planning a massive network deployment plans for Mumbai as part of its network transformation initiative – Project Leap. During the FY 18-19, Airtel plans to roll out 7000 new mobile sites including the large-scale deployment of pre-5G Massive MIMO technology across Mumbai to significantly boost network capacity for high-speed data and voice services. MIUI 10 Global Beta roll out begins mid-June – List of Xiaomi devices getting it

Xiaomi at the Redmi Y2 launch event in India announced the global roll out details of the MIUI 10, as expected. The company said that the global roll out of MIUI 10 Beta will begin June 14th and registration for it begins tomorrow, June 8th. There will be roll out for multiple devices. The company said that stable build will be available in September. Check out the list of devices below.

Xiaomi Redmi Y2 Review

It is intriguing how the selfie-taking capabilities of a phone have spurred a whole new line-up of phones across manufacturers. Following in the footsteps of ‘Selfie Experts’ like OPPO, Xiaomi too introduced their Y series of phones last year. Promising excellent front-facing cameras in addition to robust internals, the Redmi Y1 saw quite a bit of success.
