OPPO has introduced 10x hybrid optical zoom camera technology at an event in China, as it had promised recently. As it had announced earlier, this uses three lenses for achieving 10x zoom. OPPO has also introduced new optical in-display fingerprint scanning technology at the event.
Samsung has finally started rolling out Android 9.0 (Pie) One UI stable update for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ and Galaxy Note9 smartphones in India, as it had promised. Apart from the One UI visual changes, there are many other changes and new features including new adaptive themes for the keyboard that change based on the app you’re currently using, charging information in Always On Display, Scene Optimizer for the Camera app, and the ability to run DeX with a USB Type-C to HDMI cable while also being able to use the phone when DeX mode is active.

After rumors, Amazon has confirmed that V40 ThinQ penta camera smartphone will go on sale in India from January 20th exclusively on Amazon.in with early access for Prime members starting January 19th at 12PM. The phone was introduced back in October last year and packs a 6.4-inch FullVision OLED display, triple rear cameras with 16MP 107-degree super wide-angle, 12MP standard angle and 12MP telephoto with 2x optical zoom and Triple Shot feature stitches together the images captured with each of the three lenses into a short video file for easy sharing.
