Insta360 ONE R Twin Edition and 1-Inch Edition modular action cameras with interchangeable lens design announced
360-degree cameras are gaining popularity day by day due to the different perspectives that they offer and are now being used by a lot of content creators. GoPro, popular for its action cameras launched its 360-degree camera, but back in 2017, Insta360 launched the Insta360 One 4K 360-degree camera which became popular, and later the company launched the Insta360 ONE X. Legion, Lenovo’s line of gaming focused products has made a few announcements at CES 2020. These include their thinnest ever Legion Gaming laptop called the Legion 740s, their external GPU enclosure called the Legion Booststation, a 240Hz Legion gaming monitor and bunch other peripherals like keyboards and mice.
Qualcomm introduces aptX Voice audio codec for HD voice calls through Bluetooth
Smartphone manufacturers have been improving the voice quality on smartphones through better hardware every time to offer the best voice quality experience to users. In the past, brands like Xiaomi have also experimented with Cantilever piezoelectric ceramic acoustic system instead of an earpiece. Although the voice call quality also depends on the network, the quality of the voice calls made through Bluetooth accessories is not there yet. Now, Qualcomm’s new aptX voice codec aims to solve this issue and this comes after the introduction of aptX and aptX HD technologies for music streaming previously.

Nokia 7 Plus Android 10 update starts rolling out
HMD Global has started rolling out Android 10 update for the Nokia 7 Plus smartphone, which makes it the fifth Nokia phone to get the update after the Nokia 8.1 in October, and Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 7.1 last month, and Nokia 6.1 Plus yesterday. It was launched in 2018 running Android Oreo, and got the Pie update in September 2018. Android 10 brings number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, Smart Reply, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and lots more. Samsung shipped over 6.7 million 5G smartphones globally in 2019, Galaxy Tab S6 5G coming in Q1 2020
Samsung has announced that it has shipped over it shipped more than 6.7 million Galaxy 5G smartphones globally that includes Galaxy S10 5G, Note10 5G, Note10+ 5G, Galaxy A90 5G and Galaxy Fold 5G. It added that as of November 2019, Samsung accounted for 53.9% of the global 5G smartphone market globally. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G, which will be available in Korea in the first quarter of 2020, will be the world’s first 5G tablet. Samsung TVs to receive 8K certification from the 8K Association
Samsung Electronics has partnered with the 8K Association (8KA) to create and receive its certification from a new program that aims to distinguish 8K-enabled televisions and other devices. Samsung 8K TV’s will one of the first in the industry to meet this standard which involves various criteria like resolution, brightness and contrast, ports, etc.
