The trend of online-exclusive smartphone models became popular in recent times and many smartphone brands launched online-only models. On similar lines, Vivo also launched its online-exclusive U series, Z series, S series, etc and now giving in to a long-standing demand of offline retailers, Vivo has announced that they will stop launching online-exclusive smartphones starting next year.
A report published by Counterpoint research has shown the iPhone XR to be the top selling phone for Q3 2019, accounting for almost 3.0% of all phones sold worldwide. The XR was took the position as Apple’s most sold ever phone model till date, contributing to over one-quarter of the total Apple sales during the Q3 2019.
LG Electronics is planning to introduce new models of their premium sound bars at CES 2020. Partnering with a company called Meridian Audio, LG promises premium quality audio, easy connectivity, smart functionality and sleek designs that integrate perfectly with LG TVs.

LG Electronics is slated to launch their next generation Ultra series monitors during CES 2020 next year. The new Ultra series, part of its premium monitor segment, will feature three main models; the UltraFine for the professionals, UltraGear for the gamers and the UltraWide for the widescreen enthusiasts.
India is going to be one step closer to having full 5G rollouts nationwide the government is looking into 5G trials by the end of this fiscal year, according to a report. Telecom Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad has also confirmed that the auction for 5G airwaves will be held in April -March.

Last week OnePlus confirmed that it will hold a special event at the CES 2020 in Las Vegas next month. Today OnePlus CEO Pete Lau on weibo confirmed that the company will introduce its first concept smartphone, which it calls OnePlus Concept One will be introduced at the event between January 7th and 10th, 2020. He said that it will be a futuristic device, but did not say how it will look. The company is celebrating its sixth anniversary since the launch of the first OnePlus One smartphone. The latest flagship SoC finally moves from A76 to A77-based Kryo 585 cores arranged in a tri-cluster architecture that includes one Kryo 585 Prime A77-based CPU clocked at up to 2.84GHz, three Kryo 585 Performance A77-based CPUs clocked at up to 2.42GHz and the other four Kryo 585 Efficiency A55-based CPUs are clocked at up to 1.80GHz.
