Nokia 7 Plus Android 10 update starts rolling out

HMD Global has started rolling out Android 10 update for the Nokia 7 Plus smartphone, which makes it the fifth Nokia phone to get the update after the Nokia 8.1 in October, and Nokia 9 PureView and Nokia 7.1 last month, and Nokia 6.1 Plus yesterday. It was launched in 2018 running Android Oreo, and got the Pie update in September 2018. Android 10 brings number of additional privacy and security features for users, as well as Dark Theme, Smart Reply, Focus mode, dedicated ‘Privacy section’, and lots more. After rumors, Samsung has officially scheduled Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Event in San Francisco on February 11. Samsung says that it will unveil new, innovative devices that will shape the next decade of mobile experiences. Based on recent rumors the company is said to jump from S10 to S20. Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Fold 2 are expected at the event, and the invite hints and two devices. After several rumors, the invite for the Samsung Unpacked 2020has surfaced online that revealed February 11 date for the next Galaxy flagship phones, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra and Galaxy Fold 2. Samsung shipped over 6.7 million 5G smartphones globally in 2019, Galaxy Tab S6 5G coming in Q1 2020

Samsung has announced that it has shipped over it shipped more than 6.7 million Galaxy 5G smartphones globally that includes Galaxy S10 5G, Note10 5G, Note10+ 5G, Galaxy A90 5G and Galaxy Fold 5G. It added that as of November 2019, Samsung accounted for 53.9% of the global 5G smartphone market globally. Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 5G, which will be available in Korea in the first quarter of 2020, will be the world’s first 5G tablet. Samsung TVs to receive 8K certification from the 8K Association

Samsung Electronics has partnered with the 8K Association (8KA) to create and receive its certification from a new program that aims to distinguish 8K-enabled televisions and other devices. Samsung 8K TV’s will one of the first in the industry to meet this standard which involves various criteria like resolution, brightness and contrast, ports, etc.

Apple iPhone XR top selling phone globally every quarter from Q4 2018 till Q3 2019: Report

A report published by Counterpoint research has shown the iPhone XR to be the top selling phone for Q3 2019, accounting for almost 3.0% of all phones sold worldwide. The XR was took the position as Apple’s most sold ever phone model till date, contributing to over one-quarter of the total Apple sales during the Q3 2019.

Samsung to unveil ‘NEON Artificial Human’ at CES 2020

Samsung launched the Bixby voice assistant back in 2017 and it is being offered in the company’s smartphones lineup. Bixby has improved over the years and it has been positioned as a competitor to Google Assistant, Apple’s Siri, and more. With an aim to take it to the next level, now, Samsung has announced its new Project ‘NEON’ which will be officially unveiled at CES 2020.
