Huawei’s Honor brand has introduced Honor Play 8A, the company’s latest budget smartphone in China, as it had promised. It has a 6-inch HD+ waterdrop notch display, and the company claims that it has 87% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio P35 12nm SoC, runs Android 9.0 (Oreo), and has a 13-megapixel rear camrea with f/1.8 aperture, and an 8-megapixel front camera.

After announcing a price cut for Mi A2 yesterday, Xiaomi today announced a price cut for its popular Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India as the company has sold 1 crore or 10 million units. It was launched back in February last year and got a Rs. 1000 price cut in November. The smartphone is now available for Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB+64GB version, after a Rs. 1000 price cut and the 6GB+64GB version is available for Rs. 13,999, after a Rs. 2000 price cut on Flipkart, Amazon.in, Mi.com and offline stores. NVIDA at the CES 2019 introduced new RTX 2060, months after it introduced the first set of GeForce RTX series GPUs – GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, 2080 and 2070 based on the new NVIDIA Turing architecture and the NVIDIA RTX platform. Xiaomi recently scheduled an event to introduce a new Redmi smartphone with a 48-megapixel rear camera on January 10th. Today the smartphone has been certified by TENAA in China with model numbers M1901F7C, M1901F7T and M1901F7E revealing some specifications and the design. This reveals a 6.3-inch waterdrop notch screen with minimal bezels, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a gradient design.
