Aipower introduced Wearbuds as the world’s first wireless earbuds that can be charged inside a fitness band back in June on Kickstarter, which ended few weeks back. The company has moved on Indiegogo. I’ve been using the wearbuds for sometime now, and here is the first impressions.

Lenovo Tab M8 with 8-inch HD/FHD display, metal body and Tab M7 announced

Lenovo has introduced new Tab M7 and Tab M8, two new tablets in the M series ahead of IFA 2019 next week. The Tab M7 has a 7-inch WSVGA screen and the Tab M8 comes in HD and Full HD options. These have built-in Kid’s Mode 3.0 that offers rich and customized kids’ content for children under 12 years of age. “Kids who pick up the tablet will be switched directly to their kids’ account, which features a child-friendly interface with access to games, built-in applications, videos, audio and books that offer educational content in 44 languages,” said the company.

Redmi Note 8 Pro India launch details

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today introduced the Redmi Note 8 series smartphones. In an interview Redmi General Manager and VP, Lu Weibing has confirmed that the company will launch the Redmi Note 8 smartphone in India in 2 to 3 months. He also confirmed that the company has already started working on BIS certification in the country. To remind you, the Redmi Note 7 that was introduced back in January in China was launched in India in February, a month after the launch and the Redmi Note 7 Pro was launched in India first.

RedmiBook 14 Pro with 14-inch FHD display, 10th gen Intel core processors, metal body announced

Along with the Redmi Note 8 series, Redmi also introduced the RedmiBook 14 Pro, which is the upgraded version of the RedmiBook 14 that was introduced back in May. It has the same 14-inch Full HD screen with 5.75 mm ultra narrow bezels and 81.2% screen-to-body ratio and NVIDIA GeForce MX 250 GPU, but this has a faster 10th gen Intel Core i5/i7 processors that promises 13% overall performance increase compared to the previous gen processor.

Realme Q series smartphone with 48MP quad rear camera, Snapdragon 712 to be announced on September 5 [Update: Image]

Update: August 29, 2019 — realme has confirmed that one of the Q series phone will have a 48MP Quad rear cameras and Snapdragon 712 SoC and also posted an image of the phone. This looks like the realme Q will be a rebranded realme 5 Pro for China. It also hinted that the phone will start under 999 yuan (US$ 139 / Rs. 10,020 approx.).

Redmi TV with 70-inch 4K HDR screen announced

Along with its Redmi Note 8 series, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand also introduced its first Redmi TV, as it had promised. It has a large 70-inch 4K screen with HDR support, has minimal bezels, 6th generation quality engine, quad-core 64-bit high-performance Amologic processor, PatchWall artificial Intelligence voice and Bluetooth voice remote control. It has a separate cavity speaker, Dolby Atmos and let you cast content to the phone with just by scanning the QR code on the TV using your phone.

Redmi Note 8 Pro with 6.53-inch FHD+ display, Helio G90T, liquid cooling, up to 8GB RAM, quad rear camera announced

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand just announced the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the company’s latest mid-range smartphone at an event in China, as it had promised. It has a 6.53-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 2.05mm narrow top frame, 1.8mm narrow left and right borders and 4.2mm bottom border offering 91.4% screen-to-body ratio and has TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification. It the world’s first smartphone to be powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and is the first phone in the price range to feature liquid cooling that will reduce the temperature of the phone by 4 to 6 degrees.

It has a 6.39-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90% screen-to-body ratio, TÜV Rheinland eye protection certification, is powered by Snapdragon 665 11nm Mobile Platform with up to 6GB RAM, features a 48-megapixel main camera with 4-in-1 pixel binning for low-light shots, 8-megapixel 120° ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for 2cm macro shots. There is a 13-megapixel camera on the front.

HONOR 20S with 6.26-inch FHD+ display, triple rear cameras, 32MP in-screen camera to be announced on September 4

HUAWEI’s HONOR brand today confirmed that it will introduce new HONOR 20S smartphone, a cheaper version of the HONOR 20 in China on September 4th. The official image shows triple rear cameras with a 48-megapixel main camera and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. This should be the YAL-AL50 model that got certified by TENAA recently.

OPPO Enco Q1 Wireless Noise Cancelling water-resistant headphones launched in India for Rs. 7990

Along with the Reno series, OPPO also launched the Enco Q1 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones in India, as it had promised. It uses hybrid active noise cancellation, in which feed-forward and feedback microphones work together with a noise cancelling algorithm to maximally block out surrounding noise.

The headphones boast dynamic driver units with 11.8 mm composite diaphragms, in addition to support for AAC format, three immersive 3D audio modes, and audio tuning developed by a specialized acoustics team. The headphones have ENC technology has a precise microphone array that efficiently filters out background noise for calls, feature Bluetooth 5.0 support, quick pairing and have IPX4 ratings for water resistance.

The headphones are ergonomically designed, with earbuds that match the shape of the ear and a neckband that aligns with the contour of the neck to maximize comfort and stability. The headphones feature a simple and stylish appearance, a lightweight and comfortable body, and high flexibility, delivering a superior experience for users, says the company.

The headphones use a USB-C charging port, and can continuously play audio for 15 hours with noise cancelling on, or 22 hours with noise cancelling off. It has quick charge that offers up to 5 hours of usage with just 15 minutes of charge.

The OPPO Enco Q1 comes in Black and Orange colors, is priced at Rs. 7,990 and will go on sale in India soon.

OPPO Reno 2Z with 6.5-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, 8GB RAM, Quad rear cameras launched in India for Rs. 29990, Reno 2F announced

Along with the Reno 2, OPPO also launched the Reno 2Z and Reno 2F smartphones in India. Both these have a 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display without notch, but compared to the shark fin, this has a 16-megapixel rising camera. The Reno 2Z is powered by MediaTek’s latest Helio P90 12nm SoC and the Reno 2F is powered by Helio P70. Both the phones have 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, run Android Pie with ColorOS 6.1 on top. These retain the 48-megapixel primary rear camera (Sony IMX586 (2Z) / Samsung ISOCELL GM1 (2F) sensor, 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide lens and 2-megapixel mono lens, but the telephoto lens is replaced by the 2-megapixel portrait lens.
