realme has announced X50m, the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone after it got certified recently. It packs a 6.57-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 90.4% screen-to-body ratio, 120Hz refresh rate with a punch-hole that houses 16-megapixel camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary, is powered by Snapdragon 765G with up to 8GB RAM and support for built-in 5G stand alone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks. Motorola Edge+ with 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED 90Hz display, Snapdragon 865, 108MP camera, 5000mAh battery and Motorola Edge announced

Motorola just announced Edge and Edge+ 5G smartphones online, as it had promised. Both the phones pack a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED Endless Edge display  that wraps 90 degrees around the edges and 90Hz refresh rate. The Edge+ is powered by Snapdragon 865 with up to 12GB RAM and the Edge is powered by 765G with up to 6GB of RAM. These have 5G support with support for SA/NSA and the Edge+ has support for Verizon 5G Ultra Wideband. Xiaomi has announced its latest Mi electric scooter 1s in China. This is developed under Mi Ecosystem MIJIA. It weighs just 12.5kg and has a folding design that lets you fold it in just 3 seconds with a press of a button. It has a DC motor with 250W rated power and offers instantaneous maximum power up to 500W. The maximum speed of the scooter is 25km/h. Facebook buys 9.99% stake in Reliance Jio for Rs. 43,574 crore

Facebook today announced that it will buy 9.99% equity stake in Jio Platforms Limited, part of Reliance Industries Limited on a fully diluted basis for $5.7 billion or INR 43,574 crore, making Facebook its largest minority shareholder, the largest investment for a minority stake by a technology company anywhere in the world and the largest FDI in the technology sector in India. It packs a 6.65-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate, up to 4096 levels of automatic brightness adjustment, is powered by Snapdragon 765G with support for 5G SA/NSA dual-mode, ICE2.5 rack-mounted liquid cooling system with 61mm large liquid cooling tube and various heat dissipation materials such as thermally conductive graphite, gel, copper foil, etc. that can bring down the temperature by up to 16° C. MIUI 12 Dark mode 2.0: Smart wallpaper dimming, dynamic contrast and font adjustment

Xiaomi is all set to introduce MIUI 12 in China on April 27th. Today the company has started sharing the features it will bring that includes Dark Mode 2.0. MIUI got dark mode in early 2019, and with MIUI 12 it is now present in 42 built-in applications and 20 mainstream applications are deeply customized for MIUI’s dark mod, and several third-party applications now support non-linear colour invert algorithm that accurately identify interface elements, and dynamically inverts colours for each interface object. MIUI 12’s invert colour algorithm is based on Lab, HSV colour space, and the inverse colour adaptation is wider and more natural. Xiaomi today announced that it will introduce Mi 10 Youth Edition (Lite) 5G smartphone and MIUI 12 at an online event in China on April 27th. A new realme smartphone with model number RMX2142 has been certified by TENAA in China.  This could be released in as realme X3, successor of realme X2 that was introduced back in September last year. This reveals almost similar specifications as the realme X50 5G that includes a 6.57-inch FHD+ LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 765G with up to 12GB RAM and support for built-in 5G stand alone and non-stand alone (SA/NSA) sub-6GHz networks, so it could also be called as realme X50 Lite in China.
