Motorola Edge and Edge+ with 90Hz curved display surface in promotional video ahead of announcement on April 22

Motorola is all set to announce its flagship Edge Series tomorrow at an online event, but that doesn’t stop the leaks from surfacing. The promotional videos of the Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge+ have surfaced revealing key specifications and also shows both the smartphones in full glory.

Based on the leaked promotional videos, both the Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge+ will flaunt a 90Hz curved display with minimal bezels and glass back. The Motorola Edge+ will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Mobile Platform and the Motorola Edge is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G Mobile Platform as the video reveals support for 5G on this smartphone.

Moving on to the optics, Motorola Edge will sport 64MP (primary) quad rear cameras with a combination of ultra-wide, optical zoom, and a macro lens, and the front-facing camera will be a 25MP shooter. Furthermore, it will sport an in-display fingerprint scanner, so we can expect the display to be an AMOLED or Super AMOLED panel.

Motorola Edge+, on the other hand, flaunts a similar 90Hz curved display, but the display sizes aren’t known yet. The Edge+ will sport triple rear cameras with a combination of 108MP (primary) + 16MP (ultra-wide and Macro Vision) + 8MP (telephoto) and the front-facing camera is a 25MP shooter.

Furthermore, the Edge+ will feature TurboPower wireless charging and is said to pack a 5170mAh battery. Lastly, it will sport stereo speakers and likely run on Android 10 out-of-the-box. We should know more information including the pricing and availability tomorrow. The launch will take place online at 11 AM CDT (9:30 PM IST) and there will be live stream as usual.
