T-Mobile responds to the opponents of AT&T merger


AT&T USA had announced this March that they would acquire the T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom for US$ 39 billion. Later Sprint opposed the merger saying that they need to have approval of Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission (FFC) for the tranaction. Now T-Mobile has responded to those FCC filings. Nokia Maps coming to S40 devices with offline Map viewing

Nokia announced its Dual SIM touch and type slider phone, C2-03 at Nokia Connection at Singapore. This phone also comes with Nokia Maps pre-loaded in it. Unlike the earlier versions of the Nokia maps on the S40 devices, this would support offline map viewing.

Airtel has launched mHealth, that offers SMS based Health alerts for its customers. These alerts are provided by mDhil Health Info Services Pvt Ltd & Zyebo (in collaboration with Indiagames & Gobindass). There are 14 SMS-based health packs to choose from that range from Rs 30 to Rs 49 based on the pack.

Nokia has announced three new Series 40 devices Nokia C2-02, Nokia C2-03 and Nokia C2-06 at the Nokia Connection at Singapore. These devices are affordable Touch and Type devices and they comes pre-loaded with the new Nokia Maps that supports offline map viewing. The Nokia C2-06 got leaked this April.

Symbian Anna coming this July, update for existing Symbian^3 devices in August

Nokia announced Symbian Anna this April along with the Nokia E6 and X7. Today at Nokia Connection in Singapore they have announced that Symbian Anna would ship with new Symbian^3 devices this July and the update for existing Symbian^3 devices like N8, C7 and C6-01 would be available at the end of August.
