Lenovo showcased Lenovo Smart Cast, a concept projector smartphone with a built-in laser projector at the Tech World. Compared to pico-projector seen on most of the smartphones, this has laser projector, infrared motion detector and high-performance algorithms to offer a virtual projection. It is the first ever technology combination opens a new world of interaction, said the company.
Asus has released new teasers ahead of its Computex announcement next week. This hints at the ZenPad tablet with dual layer design on the back with plastic and leather finish, and a slim metal frame. Another teaser shows a part of the back with Asus branding in the center.

HOOQ, a video-on-demand start-up, which is a joint venture between Singtel, Sony Pictures Television and Warner Bros is coming to India this June. HOOQ has more than 5,000 Hollywood movies and over 10,000 Indian movie and television content, says the company. It costs Rs. 199 for a month for unlimited streaming and also offers offline viewing. HTC WF5w, an upcoming mid-range smartphone in the Desire Series has been certified on TENAA (Via) in China. The listing reveals that the smartphone will be 7.49mm thick, which is thinner than the One E9+ that is 7.54mm thick. It coincides with earlier rumors from upleaks that includes, 5.5-inch HD screen, Octa-Core MediaTek SoC and a 13-megapixel rear camera, but the listing shows a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, compared to 5-megapixel camera based on earlier leak. Twitter has finally launched its Periscope live streaming app launched for Android (4.4 or later). It was launched for iPhone back in March. Since then it has received several updates. Periscope lets you start a public or private broadcast, choose to allow comments from just those you follow, and interact with a broadcaster by chatting or sending hearts.
