Xiaomi introduced the MIUI 11, the company’s next major UI update back in September last year with several improvements and new features like the minimalistic design, customisable Ambient Display Presets, dynamic sound effects, and more. It is almost 7 months since launch and now, a new leak suggests that the company is working on the next UI update i.e., MIUI 12 and screenshots of the upcoming UI has surfaced.

OPPO A92s 5G with 6.57-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 800, quad rear cameras, dual front cameras gets certified

OPPO is all set to introduce A92s, the company’s upcoming mid-range 5G phone in China, as it has been certified by TENAA. It reveals a 6.57-inch FHD+ LCD screen, which is said to come with 120Hz refresh rate, punch-hole screen houses a 16MP camera as well as a 2MP depth sensor, 2GHz Octa-Core SoC, which according to Geekbench is MediaTek Dimensity 800 7nm SoC that was introduced earlier this year, but this is contradictory since the chip only supports up to 90Hz refresh rate, according to the official site. Apple’s next iPhone design said to resemble iPad; smaller HomePod to be released

While Apple is preparing to launch its successor to the iPhone SE shortly, work on Apple’s high-end iPhones are still ongoing. Samsung said to be working on custom Exynos SoC for Google; could be announced this year

Samsung’s in-house Exynos SoCs have been there for a while now, and the company is set to launch Exynos SoCs with AMD Graphics next year which could drastically improve the GPU performance. Lately, Exynos SoCs are being used on non-Samsung smartphones as well and on similar lines now, a new report suggests that Samsung is working on a custom chipset for Google which could be announced as soon as this year.

Samsung patents a four-sided curved display with border-less design

OnePlus 8 Pro 30W wireless charging dock, Transparent Bumper Case, Screen Protector surface[Update: wireless charging confirmed officially]

Update 7th April 2020: Shortly after the leaked renders, OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 8 Series will feature wireless charging and will be called Warp Charge 30 Wireless. It has a peak output of up to 30W and will charge the OnePlus 8 Series up to 50% in half an hour.

OnePlus says that to achieve the 30W wireless speeds, they have combined the industry’s first isolated charge pump with Warp wireless direct charging architecture which ensures a 97% charge efficiency and reduces heat. The wireless charger’s current and voltage is controlled by a customized chip and the chip enables real-time communication between the charger and the phone.

Apart from this, Warp Charge 30 Wireless is also compatible with Qi wireless chargers at 5W speeds and you can also get 10W speeds with a 10W EPP standard charger. The company has shared more details about its technology in the forum.
