Apple iPhone 5 Launch Day Pictures
Apple unveiled the iPhone 5 with a larger 4-inch display and a faster A6 processor earlier this month. The iPhone 5 pre-orders crossed 2 million units, 24 hours after the pre-orders began on September 14th. People started queuing up 3 days earlier at the Apple’s famous Fifth Avenue store in New York City to get the iPhone 5 on the launch day, September 21st.Parth Dhebar was queing up outside his local Apple Store and got us these interesting pictures. Nokia 808 PureView meets Nissan GT-R
Yes you read right, Megapixel meets Horsepower! As a big last hoorah before giving my Nokia 808 PureView loaner back to Nokia, I was extremely lucky to spend a bit of time again with a Nissan GT-R (HUGE thanks to Richard Haderer!)! Two big worlds collide here: On one side the Nokia 808 PureView, the new undisputed king in mobile photography, Damian Dinning’s 41-megapixel masterpiece with it’s fantastic PureView technology. On the other side, the Nissan GT-R. The most underrated supercar, with 550 horsepowers and probably the best acceleration since a starting plane. Stomping the foot on the accelerator is like getting kicked in the seat by a horse, with a fantastic sound as company. LG Mobile is being quite aggressive this year when it comes to launching attractive Android smartphones running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. LG Mobile has announced three international models running on ICS apart from a few Gingerbread running devices at MWC 2012. At the Nokia Strategy Summit in Chennai today , I had the chance to check out the Nokia Asha 311 which was announced only yesterday along with the Nokia Asha 305 and 306. Entry level phones are generally slow and boring but you would be surprised at what the 311 packs. In fact , it’s the sexiest entry level Nokia phone I have played with in quite some time. While Nokia call the latest Asha phones as Asha Smartphones , they are still pretty much feature phones. The phone is insanely fast for its segment and may be even faster than some Symbian phones and entry level Android phones as it packs a 1GHz processor. Check out the photos of the Asha 311

Here are the first pics of the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device which RIM CEO Thorsten Heins showed off in the keynote few minutes ago. Although the device is only meant for developers at this point , it looks slick ! More than the hardware the BlackBerry 10 UI seems impressive. The software packs a gesture based on screen keyboard and an innovative multitasking interface.

Of course I had to take the white one, and what can I say, this device is simply stunning! I’m using it for a little more than a week now, and it still continues to impress me. Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 2 310 which is a 7 inch tablet running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. It is powered by a 1GHz Dual Core CPU and packs 1GB of RAM.It packs both 3G and WiFi functionality and features 16GB of internal memory which is expandable to 32GB. The tablet uses Samsung’s own TouchWiz UI on top of Ice Cream Sandwich.
